It has come to my attention today that Facebook cover videos (page, event, group, etc header movies) are no longer being allowed. As it's one of my animation outlet points looking into it now. Will report all findings later tonight.

Over the last month the monkeys at chimp.studio have been redesigning the main website from top to toe.

The hardest part of this process is knowing when to stop. In many ways completing a clients site is far easier than finishing our own, we always aim above the industry standard in everything we do so once the client is happy then the site can go live, but with our site there is always one more way we can optimise, streamline or add todays new tech.

Every month we check over the code, visitor numbers, seo stats and ask each client if they are happy with the site performance, but as we read up on new tech every day it's very hard to progress and complete the chimp.studio site.

Today the theme is page loaders. A site has to load up within 2 to 3 seconds or the viewer will go elsewhere, to combat this we use page loaders, a graphic or text that informs the site is loading so please wait. Animations help to keep the viewer entertained but they have to be really quick to load or they defeat the purpose they were designed for.
