Since 2003 Beard Museum has been bringing some of the finest music the world has to offer to Oxford audiences. History lesson:
In 2003 a group of musicians/dreamers/curators gathered up a bag of tealights, some speakers, cables and microphones, and began persuading the great and the good of the music world to bare their musical souls to a hushed and devoted few in

an Oxford city cellar venue once a month. Beard Museum Records was soon established, and a number of critically acclaimed releases by Oxford artists Richard Walters, Family Machine and We Aeronauts soon followed. In 2014 Beard Museum is an established events company, curating recent shows for the likes of Keaton Henson, Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, Stornoway, Sea of Bees, Spring Offesnive, Fairport Convention, Karine Polwart and Gaz Coombes.
