CUSTODIANS OF GOD'S BLESSINGS

OPENING SCRIPTURE
…I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
Ephesians 1:3;
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ

Galatians 3:7-9
Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
The Christian is blessed in all things. He’s blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. In Genesis 12:2, God didn’t say to Abraham, “I will bless you and make you ‘lucky’”; rather, He said, “…I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” This is what you need: the consciousness that you’re blessed and are a blessing!

You’re empowered to be successful; the ability to prosper in all things has been invoked in your life; it’s inherent in you and works all the time. Everywhere you go, there’s favour. Your steps are always ordered of the Lord; you don’t go anywhere by chance, and you don’t go anywhere alone, for He’s in you and with you always. This is the heritage of the seed of Abraham. It worked for the physical descendants of Abraham— Isaac and Jacob; they were blessed in all things and bequeathed the same blessings to their generations.

It’s even better with us today; the Bible says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). Ours is a better covenant, established upon better promises (Hebrews 8:6); promises that have all been fulfilled in Christ. You ought to know like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that you’re blessed, and the custodian of blessings. Make this your consciousness and confession.

DAILY LIFE-GIVING CONFESSIONS
Gracious Father, thank you for your divine blessings in my life. The supernatural “elixir,” the divine element at work in me takes me far and beyond the natural limits always. I refuse to struggle like the rest of the world, for I’m the seed of Abraham. I’m blessed and I have the advantage, in Jesus’ Name.

PROVE THE WORD IN YOUR LIFE

OPENING SCRIPTURE
For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth (Psalm 119:89-90).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
Isaiah 55:10-11
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
The opening Scripture tells us that God’s Word is forever settled in heaven; however, it’s your responsibility to settle or prove the Word in your own life. The Bible says, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Concerning your health, marriage, business, academics, ministry etc., you can prove the Word of God. How? By simply acting on it; doing what it says.

In fact, while talking about tithing in Malachi 3:10, the Lord challenged us to prove the Word: “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” So you see, God isn’t afraid to be put on the spot; He asked us to prove His Word.

So today, find out some of the things God has said about you in His Word and act on them. Don’t sit idly by waiting and hoping that His Word concerning you will come to pass someday, perhaps in the sweet-by-and-by. No! Take a step of faith and act on the Word now! Act on the knowledge of God’s Word that has come to you, and your faith will prevail.

DAILY LIFE-GIVING CONFESSIONS
I’m walking in the reality of my divine inheritance in Christ because the Word of God is at work in me! I’m not just a hearer but a doer of the Word, therefore my faith is producing results and the wisdom, knowledge and ability of the Spirit are showing forth through me, in Jesus Name. Amen.

TRUE PRAISE AND WORSHIP

OPENNING SCRIPTURE
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh (Philippians 3:3).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
Psalm 47:6-7 (KJV)
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. 7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

Psalm 69:30-31 (KJV)
30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. 31 This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

Hebrews 13:15 (AMPC)
Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
The Church of Jesus Christ has come of age. Some of the things the Lord tolerated in the past, even though they didn’t make much spiritual sense, are now being corrected. This is because He’s perfecting the Church for the coming of the Lord. For example, true worship and true praise in the house of God: many don’t understand what it is. Some think that when they dance themselves high in church, they’re really praising and worshipping God. But dancing in the flesh is neither praise nor worship.

What is praise? And what is worship? Worship is the
recognition and appreciation, we express in prayer, sacrifice and service. In the New Testament, we offer spiritual sacrifices called praise (Hebrews 13:15, 1 Peter 2:5, Psalm 69:30-31). Hence, praise is an expression of worship. When we praise God, we’re worshipping Him. When you say, “Lord, you’re good; you’re kind, gracious and loving; you’ve blessed me, you’re righteous, etc., you’re defining, recognizing, and appreciating His character and His works.

Praise is the fruit of our lips—giving thanks to God (Hebrews 13:15). So, in worship or praise, you’re SAYING something to God thankfully. This profuse expression of appreciation of His character and personality in words of thanksgiving should be from the heart; that is the spirit, not the flesh.

The dancing that most people do in many churches is in the flesh. That may have its place outside the church. In the New Testament, you don’t dance in the flesh to worship God. Dancing in the flesh is based on the beat of the music. When the beat changes, the dance changes.

If you’re inspired to dance, it should be in the spirit and by the Spirit. The dance may not even synchronize or follow the beat of the drums. In such situations, you’ll find yourself jumping, spinning, rejoicing in and from your spirit. We’re the true circumcision who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh (Philippians 3:3).

DAILY LIFE-GIVING CONFESSIONS
Gracious heavenly Father, I worship you today for your love, kindness and grace manifested in my life. You’re great and greatly to be praised. I extol your greatness and worship your holy Name, for there’s none like you; your kingdom is forever, your reign is everlasting! You’re the only true and wise God. To you be all glory, honour, majesty, dominion and praise, forever and ever. Amen

HIS GLORY IN YOUR SPIRIT .

OPENING SCRIPTURE
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified (Romans 8:30).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Colossians 1:26-27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

TODAY'S MESSAGE
The glory of God is much more than being enveloped by a cloud, even though this was their experience in the Old Testament. Ezekiel 10:4 says, " Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory." When Solomon had finished building the temple, "...the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God" (2 Chronicles 5:14). That was awesome, but there's a higher level of glory!

When we talk about the glory of God, what many think of, and get inspired about, is some physical cloud above their heads, or in a building. Understand God's real purpose: what God really wants is the "glory in you". Don't choose to remain with "the good" and leave out "the best". "Glory in the building" was a shadow of things to come. The best isn't the glory in the room, even though some will have more faith if they saw something physical. That's remaining at the lower levels, or babyhood stage.

In Christianity, what we have is the oneness of our spirit with the Spirit of God. You don't have to look for the glory outside you; it's in your spirit. Read the Apostle Paul's beautiful submission about this in Colossians 1:26-27 "Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY".

Did you know that the Kingdom of God is in your heart? The perfect glory of God can never be contained in a room, or found on the outside. The perfect glory of God isn't something that your optical eyes can behold. The perfect glory of God is in your spirit.

DAILY LIFE-GIVING CONFESSIONS
Gracious Father, thank you, for Christ in me is the glory-life. I manifest the perfect glory of God, the power, beauty, and excellence of God which has been deposited in my spirit, to my world. As I consistently meditate on the Word, the glory of God emanates from my spirit, such that the wonderful deeds and perfections of God are displayed for the world to see, in Jesus' Name.

STAND OUT FOR GOD

OPENING SCRIPTURE
He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light (John 5:35).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
Romans 12:11
Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.

Titus 2:7 NLT;
And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.

1 Timothy 4:12
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
When Goliath of Gath taunted the armies of Israel, they felt helpless and intimidated, until David showed up. David knew he could defeat Goliath, and he did! It wasn’t about strength; it was about ideology. The difference between David and the others was his way of thinking. He started by saying, “…who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” (1 Samuel 17:26).

The circumcision didn’t mean anything to the others, but it sure meant something to David. He saw the armies of Israel as the armies of God. Hallelujah! David couldn’t imagine God’s people being defeated; it didn’t matter who the adversaries were. Think like that. Your desire should be to see the glory of God in and on His people and upon His congregations. David said, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life...” (Psalm 63:1-3).

That should be your passion as a Christian: God must receive glory everywhere you are and everywhere you go. Even if others around you don’t think much about soul winning, be different. Be a burning and a shining light in your school or place of work or business. Let your light shine so brightly that men may see your good works and be provoked to righteousness. Stand out for God.

FURTHER READING CONFESSIONS
I’m a burning and a shining light, standing out and standing strong for the Lord. Through my fellowship with the Holy Spirit, I increase my fire with ever-increasing glory and vision for ministry. I have the mindset that makes me fervent, agile and enthusiastic about the things of God. Praise God!

DISCOVER CHRIST IN YOU

OPENING SCRIPTURE
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
1 Corinthians 6:19;
Amplified Bible
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]?

1 John 4:4; Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
There’re too many of God’s children who are still looking up to God for one blessing or the other. They’re looking up to God to heal them, to touch them, to provide for them, to answer their prayers. But the truth is, there’s no other blessing that’ll come to you from heaven until the second coming of the Lord Himself.

There’s no prayer that the answer will come to you from heaven. Everything you’d ever need in life is in Christ, and Christ is in you, and to have Christ is to have everything. Colossians 1:27 says, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Have you been desiring or expecting to see the glory of God revealed in your finances, your health, business, or family? The glory has already been revealed. That’s the meaning and reason for Christmas; that’s why we’re so full of joy that Christ was born into this world, to live in our hearts.

Christ in you is your assurance of divine health, prosperity, success, victory and dominion. Hallelujah! What you need is to discover Christ in you. If Christ isn’t in a man, then his sufferings are justified; his pains are “excusable.” But not so with you; you’ve been brought into the “glory life.”

This Christ-consciousness will inspire an extraordinary boldness in your life. It’ll cause you to live every day, exuding joy indescribable, and full of glory. When you discover Christ in you, there’ll be no place for any disease in your body; that’ll be the end of darkness and lack. Glory to God!

The revelation of Christianity is Christ IN YOU; not in heaven. Don’t start fasting and asking Him to pour something out from heaven; don’t ask Him to give you a blessing from heaven. He’s blessed you already with Himself; with all the blessings that are in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Consciously take some time today to meditate on Christ: who He is, who you are in Him, and all that He’s accomplished for you. It’ll transform your life. Hallelujah!

DAILY LIFE-GIVING CONFESSIONS
What a privilege it is to be a member of His body, of His flesh and of His bones! Christ in me, the hope of glory! I’ve been granted the grace and ability in Christ to reign and rule over all circumstances! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Christ in me is my assurance of a life of continuous victory and unending success. Blessed be God!

A LIFE OF POWER OVER SIN

OPENING SCRIPTURE
…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
Romans 6:4;
4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Romans 10:9-10 NIV
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
Jesus died to save man from sin, but salvation from sin wasn’t enough. We were free from sin and the consequences of sin, but we weren’t free from the power of sin. The resurrection of Jesus gave us a new life and power over sin. Thus, the power to live above sin came from the resurrection; the resurrection brought us a new life of righteousness!

This is why it’s compulsory that we understand that true salvation is based on our faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If anyone believes in the death and doesn’t believe in the resurrection, their salvation isn’t complete, because the resurrection is what gives us eternal life.

We read in our opening verse, “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Verse 10 continues, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” From the foregoing, we observe two things that are involved in salvation: you must confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord of your life, and believe that God raised Him from the dead. When a man fulfils both, he can then declare, “I’m saved,” for with that, he’s at once ushered into a new life; a life of righteousness, with power over sin.

If you’ve never been born again, this is what you need: affirm the Lordship of Jesus over your life, believing in your heart that He died for you, and that God raised Him from the dead for your justification. Let us know that you made that declaration by sending a mail to [email protected]

DAILY LIFE-GIVING CONFESSIONS
I pray for souls around the world today, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, as the Word is brought to them in diverse means. The veil is removed from their hearts, and the light of the glorious Gospel shines through, in Jesus’ Name.

THE GLORY OF HIS WORD!

OPENING SCRIPTURE
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
2 Corinthians 3:7-9 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. ;

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. ;

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
In the New Testament, we live the Word! We see the glory of God in His Word; that glory impacts our spirits and reflects outwardly as we study and meditate on the Word. This happened to Moses in the Old Testament; He had been in the presence of the Lord for forty days and forty nights receiving God’s Word. The words he heard completely transformed him, and the skin of his face literally began to glow (Exodus 34:29).

All the time Moses was in God’s presence, all he heard was God’s Word. God didn’t touch Moses or give him any physical food! Nothing else happened on that mountain, except that God was there giving him the commandments. Yet, when God was through talking to him, his face radiated the glory of God such that the children of Israel couldn’t look at his face (2 Corinthians 3:7).

This is what happens whenever you yield yourself to the ministry of God’s Word; the glory of the Word inundates your spirit and rests upon you. In our case, in the New Testament, it’s even more glorious than what Moses experienced. The glory of His Word in us far exceeds what Moses had: “For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth” (2 Corinthians 3:9-10).

This inherent glory in you is what Apostle Paul describes in 2 Corinthians 3:18 saying, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” As we behold or contemplate the glory of God in the Word of God, we’re metamorphosed; we’re transfigured into the same glory that we see in the Word. Blessed be God!

DAILY LIFE-GIVING CONFESSIONS
Gracious Father, I thank you for the glory of your Word in my life, and the manifestation of that glory in and around me! Your power, beauty, and excellence are revealed through me to my world, and my life is aglow with your presence; my light shines ever so brightly, drawing men to righteousness, in Jesus’ Name.

YOUR LIFE IS FOR HIS GLORY .

OPENING SCRIPTURE
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.
2 Corinthians 3:18* But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord

TODAY'S MESSAGE
God’s Word, apart from showing you His will for your life also reveals your inheritance in Christ. 2 Corinthians 8:9 declares, _*“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”*_ Jesus became poor that we might become rich. So all you’ve got to do to enjoy the life of prosperity He’s given you is to live in His Word! God didn’t create you to suffer and struggle through life; He created you for His glory.
Your submission to God’s Word as final authority in your life is the key to living in your inheritance in Christ and enjoying life to the full.

There’s nothing the Lord hasn’t done for you yet. Ephesians 1:3 says, _*“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, WHO HATH BLESSED US WITH ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST.”*_ He has already granted you every blessing you could ever imagine. This parallels what we read in our opening verse: He’s already given you all things that pertain to life and godliness.
Your life, therefore, should be one of praise, glory, and thanksgiving to the Lord every day, everywhere, and at all times. The Bible says you’ve been called to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3), and not to poverty, sickness, disease or infirmity. Your life is for the glory of God.

The Bible lets us know that the prophets of old testified of the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:11). Right after the sufferings of Christ, a life of glory ensued. He suffered so that you would live in the glory. You’re in that glory now. If anybody is suffering today, that suffering is unnecessary.

If, for example, you’ve had problems in your physical body, maybe it’s a growth somewhere in your body; command it to die. Don’t complain about the pain. Use the Word against it. Affirm your healing and health. Declare your prosperity. Speak life. Declare that your journey in life is one direction only: upward and forward. Affirm that you’re triumphant all the way, and your life is for the glory of God.

DAILY LIFE GIVING CONFESSIONS
My life is for the glory of God! I’m triumphant all the way; my journey in life is in one direction only: upward and forward. Today, my faith is strong and alive; the world is subdued before me, because I function by the dominion of the Spirit. Blessed be God!

HOLDING FORTH THE WORD
OF LIFE

OPENING SCRIPTURE
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; HOLDING FORTH THE WORD OF LIFE; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain (Philippians 2:14-16).

FURTHER READING SCRIPTURES
2 Corinthians 3:18 AMPC
And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

James 1:25
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

1 Timothy 4:15
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
Notice the underlined portion of our opening scripture: “Holding forth the word of life”; in holding forth the Word of life, you’re presenting Jesus to the world, for He is the living, incarnate Word and He is life. Your life continually reflects Jesus as you meditate on His Word and live it daily.

2 Corinthians 3:18 says, _*“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”*_ As you look into God’s mirror (His Word), where the beauty of Christ is expressed, you’re transfigured into the same image of glory that you see in the Word. Then you discover that you’re not the weak, struggling person that you thought you were; you’re not the fearful, vengeful or arrogant person that others had described. You’re the glory of God. Christ is your beauty, wisdom and righteousness. You’re the effulgence of His glory, as He (Christ Jesus) is the effulgence of the Father’s glory, for as He is, so are you, in this world (1 John 4:17).

This is why it’s important that you meditate on the Word. The Word reveals your origin, identity and inheritance in Christ. Make studying God’s Word part of your conscious routine, not something you do casually. It’ll build your faith and help you grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

DAILY LIFE-GIVING CONFESSIONS
Gracious Father, thank you for the ability to see the glorious realities in your Word. As I meditate on the Word, I’m transfigured into the same image of glory. I’m the expression of your righteousness, goodness, excellence, glory, grace and power to my world. I walk in the reality of my inheritance, authority and ability in Christ, in Jesus’ Name.
