It was great to recently catch up with Hoo resident Tim Luff, who worked as a Savile Row tailor for 55 years. Tim now volunteers at St. Werburgh Church and he's raising money for church funds by offering his tailoring and sewing services to the local community (half of what he charges will be donated to the church). He recently repaired the Hoo and Chattenden Parish Council owned Union flag!

The team at Village Voices Publishing are saddened to learn of the passing of the well known local businessman and butcher Denis Hills.

Denis faithfully served local communities for many decades (his shop opened in 1976) and he'll be very sadly missed by all who knew him.

We send our condolences to Denis' family and the team at Denis Hills Butchers in Frindsbury at this sad time.

Denis passed away on 27th March and his funeral will take place on 26th April.
