A second child has died following a house fire in east London, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) has said.
The blaze broke out on the ground and first floor of a terraced house on Napier Road in East Ham shortly before 08:30 BST on Saturday.
LFB Assistant Commissioner Patrick Goulbourne said: "Sadly, one child was pronounced dead at the scene yesterday morning, and overnight a second child died in hospital.
"Two other children and two adults were also taken to hospital, where the children and one adult remain in a serious condition."
No details have been released on the identities of the children.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, an LFB spokesperson said.

A Skegness seaside donkey-ride owner says he now weighs children because of high obesity levels.
John Nuttall, whose family has been operating in Lincolnshire for more than 100 years, said children were required to step on a set of scales if they appeared to weigh over 6st (38kg).
"Some are just too big to ride a donkey," he said. "My donkeys work hard enough for me. The welfare of the animals has to come first."

Actor Donald Sutherland, star of films including The Hunger Games and Don't Look Now, has died at 88 after a long illness.
His son, the actor Kiefer Sutherland, announced his father's death in a statement.
"With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film," he said.
"Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived."

Gareth Southgate says England will need to be "exceptional" to progress beyond the Euro 2024 group stages as they focus on Tonight's opener against Serbia.
The 53-year-old told German newspaper Bild earlier this week that failure to win a trophy in Germany could see the end of his stay as England manager.
Southgate has been in charge since 2016, taking his side to the 2018 World Cup semi-finals, the Euro 2020 final and the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals in Qatar.

Rugby league legend Rob Burrow dies aged 41
Leeds Rhinos and Great Britain rugby league great Rob Burrow has died.
Burrow, who was 41, had lived with motor neurone disease (MND) since being diagnosed in late 2019.
The diagnosis came just two years after he retired from playing, following a stellar 17-year career that included winning eight Super League Grand Finals, three World Club Challenges and two Challenge Cups.
Burrow's death was announced by the Rhinos, who called their former scrum-half and ho**er "a true inspiration throughout his life whether that was on the rugby league field or during his battle with MND"

Depher, a social enterprise, used vulnerable people's photos without consent and founder James Anderson spent company cash on a house and car.
Mr Anderson prevented one elderly woman from killing herself, the firm claimed. In fact, she had died years earlier.
He denied some of the BBC's allegations but admitted: "I've made mistakes."

Alison Hammond's For the Love of Dogs future 'uncertain' as ITV bosses 'disappointed'
Sources claim ITV chiefs are considering cutting Alison Hammond as host of For The Love of Dogs after just one series.
telly execs are "very disappointed" following a negative reaction from viewers.
An insider told the publication: "Unfortunately the casting has not worked out how the team behind the show hoped - and it has turned out to be a bit of a misfit.
"ITV are very disappointed because it's such a well-loved programme, and of course Alison is an ITV favourite too. But unfortunately sometimes in spite of everyone's best efforts, things just don't work out."
Alison, 49, took over the role from the beloved late Paul O'Grady this series. Sources claim that the team behind the show are disappointed with her work as host.

Northern Lights could be visible in England and Wales as severe solar storm to hit overnight
