We want to congratulate Derek Chan, whose poem ‘A Craft Talk on the Praxis of an August Evening’ was published in issue 96 of Oxford Poetry and subsequently shortlisted for the 2024 Forward Prize for Best Single Poem – Written.
Congratulations also to Eric Yip, who was highly commended in the same category for his poem ‘Ardently Love’, which was published in the same issue (no. 96) after having won 3rd place in the 2023 Oxford Poetry Prize.
What an issue!
Both poems will feature in the forthcoming Forward Book of Poetry, launching on October 9th, the day before the Forward Prize announcement. Congrats to all the poets.
