- Horses and chariots represented physical power and ability.
- Some people place their trust in human strength, power and ingenuity.
- We should not place our confidence in human strength and ability.
- We should trust in the *Lord* our *God*, in *His* goodness, in *His* wisdom and in *His* power.

*Lord*, I choose to place my trust in *You*. I will not look to the left or to the right for my help. My help comes from *You*, the maker of heaven and earth. Amen.

- As believers in Jesus Christ, we have to know that the the devil will tempt us so as to move us away from our faith
- ⁠We have to be like Jesus Christ and use the word of God to defeat him
- ⁠The word of God is powerful and when used with faith, it will overcome every temptation by the devil
- ⁠Read the word of God, ask God for understanding and use the word to defend yourself when you are attacked by the devil

Prayer: Father, thank You for the gift of life. May you defeat every temptation of the enemy over my life and give me victory according to the word of God in Jesus Christ name. Amen.

- Honoring your father and mother is giving them respect and showing it in your actions towards them.
- ⁠Honoring your parents is the only commandment with a blessing if it is obeyed.
- ⁠Do not disrespect your parents for you bring curses upon yourself
- ⁠If you have dishonored your parents, seek forgiveness from them and start to honor them through your actions
- ⁠As believers in Jesus Christ, let us honor our parents and uplift them in every way we can
