After Storm Eowyn took down my broadband last weekend, preventing me from presenting both of my shows, I’m happy to say everything is now back to normal! Caitlyn responds to my writing prompt and this week will be her 21st contribution. To be honest I don't know how she has time as she is such a busy writer. She has several books available on Amazon. Unfortunately due to Storm Eowyn, I was unable to present my Rock n Rollason show on Friday and my Rhythm and Roots show on Sunday. Thankfully the engineer has been and restored my broadband so I will be back on the airwaves with Enjoy Radio this week. In my Rock n Rollason show, on Friday, I will be featuring tracks from Elvis Presley as voted by you, the listeners. On my Rhythm & Roots Show, I will be reading from old newspapers. In my Inspired to Write Feature, I will be setting a new writing prompt and reading new song lyrics from Caitlyn Callery who responded to my last writing prompt. Lots to look forward to. I have a great Rhythm & Roots Show lined up for you today on Enjoy Radio. I will be featuring our very own Sethy LoRusso who presents his Elastic Glam Show all the way from Massachusetts USA. Sethy, also presents on the http://lemonaido.com/ and http://wkkl.fm/. Sethy is the only presenter to present Glam Rock on the Cape Cod. Be sure to tune in to my show to hear about his family history and also the Top 3 Songs from the Soundtrack of His Life. I will also be reading old newspaper articles from the area in which he lives. Great music too from artists born in and around Cape Cod and Massachusetts. So much to entertain you this evening at 5pm-7pm.

On my Rhythm & Roots Show on Enjoy Radio I read the following poem out. I said I would post the original authors of each line or lines. Here is the poem and the key to who originally wrote each line/lines. The one below was written by a signalman from Corbridge. It was published in the Newcastle Chronicle 19th January 1889. You can read also read it on Find My Past where they have a repository of old newspapers that have been digitalised.

The Re-run - My Rhythm & Roots Show is a special show to honour those who gave their lives in conflict for their country. I will be especially remembering my own ancestor who lost his life during WW1 and the ancestors' of a fan of my Rhythm & Roots Show too. I will feature poetry from the War Poets too.
