Our first record release was a 4 way hand labelled 7" called 'Oh Granchester, so much to answer for'. Included was this track by a band called Autumn Stone. Here Tom from the band plays a snippet; excitingly he hopes to pop in to The Portland Arms to launch our 30th anniversary bash by playing it all on his way to playing a festival with his current band Phoenix Road. For those of you (un)luckily too young to remember s*m*a*s*h, it is hard to describe the subversive DIY punk rock excitement their mini movement inspired. Shoe string tours, mind blowing gigs, smuggling a song about assassinating the Tory Government into the Top 40, playing the Anti Nazi League carnival and Top of the Pops while unsigned. Pure punka role models. And they're reforming for Marking 30 years of R*E*P*E*A*T in Cambridge on July 27th at The Portland Arms, ticket link below. And here they are on TOTP 31.3.94

There's not many artists that have remained as inspirations for the nearly 30 years that R*E*P*E*A*T Fanzine has been running, but @CJ Wildheart is one such person.
