My Story
I am Rachael, married to my very supportive husband Dave.
I was approached one day recently to see if i would be interested in becoming an Usborne organiser. I have been approached in the past by other businesses and was very quick to dismiss the opportunity mainly I think because it was things that didn’t excite me enough to see it through. When I looked more into Usborne however I completely fell in love with the idea of starting my own business! Not just for the obvious reason that it will benefit my family (albeit the only child we have at the moment is our fur baby Coco who was my inspiration for my business name) but because since a young age I have read these books myself and still love reading now. There is no better feeling than the smell of a brand new book and turning those lovely crisp, fresh pages. Children’s books are even more exciting with their colours and knowledge. There is nothing better than seeing a child engaged by their favourite book being entertained whilst learning all at the same time.
Another reason why I have taken on this very brave venture is well because I am not usually brave but this opportunity has sparked something in me I have never felt before. I have passion and charisma and am just as excited as your child/children will be when they receive one of our beautiful Usborne books!
I may be writing this on a social media site but children deserve to stay children for longer and still pick up books the way we did. Let’s see their little faces glow with pure excitement not from the glare of a computer.
