Time to get nominating your favourite Walton businesses!

Hello everyone!

We are really excited to announce the first ever Walton BID Business Awards. Our new yearly awards will go out to the very best that central Walton-on-Thames has to offer, as voted by you: their customers and the citizens of Walton!

At Walton BID (Business Improvement District) our primary role is to promote the incredible businesses in our town centre, and we could think of no better way than by letting you choose who is absolutely smashing it, and who should get some shiny awards each year.

How it works…
(1) Nomination is simple…
Businesses can nominate themselves or a member of the public can nominate them, during a 10-day window from – Friday 21st until 5pm Sunday 30th June 2024.

Get into Cricket ‘open day’ this Saturday!

Are you a lapsed cricketer looking to get back into the game, an experienced player seeking a new challenge at a great club or new to the game and want to ‘give it a go’?

Our ‘open day’ will be running 12:30 to 16:30 this Saturday, 18th May, in our brand new ‘Centenary Nets’ at our beautiful Brownacres home ground on Desborough Island, KT12 1QP.

TOMORROW: Tuesday 9th April - Join Helen Hamill, originator of the Button Collection series of books, for a fun session of storytelling and Eid Celebration. Balik and Bhumini are Festival buttons and they have a story to tell!

Can you spot your work among the exhibits on wall? Come to Robert Phillips Gallery this weekend to admire the delightful works by children from Walton-on-Thames, Kenya and Brazil and learn about their visions for the future 🌈

You can also paint your own work to illustrate your inspiration for the future and add to the display!

On Saturday we will hold our first-ever multi-lingual singalong in the gallery! Join us to sing It’s a Small World in different languages.
