Want your business to be the top-listed Media Company?
The Editor, Fiona, is a mum of 2 children. “We moved to Dunblane at Easter time 2009 with my husband’s job, not knowing anyone or where to find anything! Having enjoyed the benefits of a community magazine where we used to live (in deepest, darkest Wales), we missed this way of finding things out. So having gathered some useful knowledge, we decided to share it with everyone else!”
Some 9 years on, theWire is still committed to supporting the communities it reaches. Our main aims and goals are to promote small businesses in the area, whilst at the same time helping to build community spirit. We consistently give 20% of our pages away free to enable us to exchange information with our readers, helping to promote local events, share news and support our schools.
We deliver (with the help of a team of amazing volunteers) 4200 magazines - through all the doors in Dunblane, Ashfield and Kinbuck and to pick up points in Bridge of Allan and Doune.
theWire has gone from strength to strength and is now a well established part of the Dunblane community and actively used to source local businesses. We are totally independent with a local focus.
