Thatboytim - Throwdown

If Kitchen Spasm HQ were an actual kitchen, this release, in my opinion, would be our first visit from a celebrity chef.

I’ve been a fan of “militant funkster” Thatboytim’s music for a long time, I even played an incredibly early version of Throwdown on a mix back in 2011, which after hearing it all these years later prompted Tim to get in touch and finish the tune…

Throwdown is a raw, jacked up, floor shaking ghetto house groove. Meanwhile, Struttin’ and Shakin’ takes a swinging steppin’ beat and marries it to some smooth hypnotic house textures
