🚨 FINAL ACT REVEAL 🚨

Formed in October 2023, Driftwood are a 5 piece indie rock band brought together by a love of ‘Peach Pitt’, the Free Bird solo and doing things for a laugh. 🎉

Emerging, seemingly out of nowhere from within Falmouth’s alternative student music scene, Driftwood have taken the small seaside town by storm, packing out venues with punchy originals based around getting on with life alongside fan favourite covers ranging from The Backseat lovers to ABBA. 💿

While they are the only band on the lineup not playing Boardmaster this year, they have recently started to make waves delivering a string shattering set at the Fleece in Bristol, bringing the house down at their own curated show at the Kings bar and impressing the judges in the grand final of Amplify Falmouth’s battle of the bands event coming in a respectable joint second (dead last). 🏆

While not professional musicians, they more than make up for it with their infectious energy, their lead singers charisma and their drummer’s mighty goatee! 🥁

have been making their mark in the Cornish music scene since their debut in 2020. What started as some 3am songwriting sessions between Guitarist Anderson Forsyth and Vocalist Ruby O’Connor has since grown to become one of the most popular grassroots bands to come out of Falmouth post pandemic. 💥
