We are a radio station dedicated to playing quality soul music you may not hear on other stations. We bring you deep soul, modern and funky jazzy latin grooves from the 60s to the present day.
The emphasis is on soul, but we also play House, and other genre defying beats, and also have a penchant for roots reggae, rocksteady, dub and soulful reggae tunes.
Our DJs are experienced, so you may know or catch them at a dance near you, and many have featured on other stations, whilst others are fresh and eager to play you their favourite soulful tunes. We are growing, and will be augmenting and linking to events and other activities, offering prizes and chances to get on board with the TFM team.

Clive Brady comes to you with his Global Funk and Soul Radio Show Wednesdays 10-midday, with his inimitable broadcasting magic and the best grooves in town.
DJ Sonny Delight’s Sip The Juice Show is on Wednesdays from 8-10pm where he will play the best in jazz funk, Blue Note, soul, funky grooves. Rocking the party or soothing the soul, its gotta be Sonny D. Smooth Soul, Kick Ass Funk, Delicious Disco & a few surprises along the way. Sip the Juice
Mick Reynolds’ Souled Out Show / Across the Board Memories Show is on Thursdays 6-8pm, where he indulges his life long love of Soul music, from modern to northern, Mick has it all, cheap, expensive, rare or available in abundance. As long as it's soulful it’ll be played by Mick.
Don Pablo’s Soul Groove Show is also on Thursdays from 8-10pm, where he’ll play a selection of funky, deep soulful, Latin-soul, jazz funk, Afro-beat, jazz, rare and other grooves all carefully selected from his play box to provide the maximum listening pleasure. Expect to hear tunes you’ve not heard before, alongside classics, versions and originals all with the Groove you’ll love.
The Soul Groove Show is also on Saturdays 4-6pm, as a part of the weekend fun on TFM, to keep you mellow and yet also bopping along with a fizzle and a wiggle.
Frank Anderson’s Funky Drive is on from 4-6pm on Fridays where Frank will play soul, funk, disco, jazz funk and other club classics to get you in the dancing weekend mood.
Davey J’s Soulshift Show is on Fridays from 10-midnight to keep you in that mood bringing you more quality soulful cuts, with pure unadulterated Soul across the board. Expect to enjoy 80s classics and an array of all that is soulful, whether northern, modern or gritty southern soul for your listening pleasure to take you into your weekend. So whether, you’re steppin’ out or stayin’ in, grab yourself a piece of Davey J.
The weekend continues with Colsie’s Saturday Morning Soul Show from 10-midday, where he spins tunes to enjoy alongside some quality broadcasting, you’ll hear classics and new grooves.
After Colsie, DJ Robbie is on Saturdays midday to 2pm where he flings down his best grooves to keep you moving until 2pm, and then Frank is back in the House until 4pm, playing bouncing soulful House classics and some jazz.
Don Pablo is back with more Soul Grooves 4-6pm, and then you have the spectacular Chris Sessions’ Futurepast Radio Show Saturdays from 10-midnight, where each episode from Chris is a carefully crafted collection of old school tracks from the 80’s - early 90’s featuring a wide range of styles from Electro, Funk, Italo Disco, Proto House, Post Punk, Synth Pop, Minimal Synth, Miami Bass, New Beat, Classic Chicago House, Acid, Detroit Techno, British Bleeps and Breaks and more.
Sunday brings more musical delights kicking off with Kelly B’s Sunday Morning Special Vinyl Soul Shuffle Show from 8-midday. A bumper box full of delights, surprises and quality music from Kel, who is Mr.TFM, and for whom music is a way of life. He will enthrall and enliven your Sundays like no-one else can.
After Kelly has worked his magic there is SuZannE Bull’s Music For Your Soul Show on from midday to 2pm, where you’ll hear her play soul jazz and some hip-hop, especially those which sampled the old skool flavas, and will feature surprise and exciting guests from time to time. Get on board and savour some Music For Your Soul.
After SuZannE you can catch some smooth reggae vibes, on Pablo’s Reggae Shack from 2-4 where he’ll be playing roots, dub, rocksteady and soulful reggae. So join Pablo for a version excursion where the riddims are wicked and the groove is wild. Pablo makes Sunday afternoons reggae heaven, and special guests and soundclashes will feature from time to time.

Starting with A Casual Affair Sundays from 6-8pm. No ‘A Casual Affair’ show is the same. A kaleidoscope of music including Blues, Disco, Soul, Reggae, Funk, House, Ska, R&B, Mash-up’s and so much more.

After Nic, Lynden J Soulman takes you on a soulful journey on his Soul Spectrum Show on Sundays from 8-10pm, where he will play soulful house, edits of funk, disco, R&B, jazz-funk, and 21st Century soul. A mixed spectrum of music translates into his set; emotive tracks and collections fused together with vocal hooks and moods spanning the decades to entice all tastes. Bringing bright, funky sounds to the airwaves with his extensive collection of vinyl from around the world, this weekly Spectrum will be one to remember!
The weekend may be ending, but for some it’s still going strong, and so you can keep it banging with Eddie Poole’s House Mixtape Show. He digs deep and shares the finest in his collection for you, crafted deep house, and other beats with a soulful techno edge are on offer from Eddie every Sunday from 10-midnight.
