The classic, genre-defining 1993 album from LULL - the pioneering, isolationist dark ambient project of MICK HARRIS of SCORN, FRET, ex-NAPALM DEATH - is a dark journey through the Stygian netherworlds of Hell. The listener is left with the impression of a final escape into reality; a return upon waking, with only wispy trace memories and the heavy rush of blood-pumping fear as a keepsake.

With this album, we are plunged back into a dark pit of noise - all escape barred, all hope dashed. The nightmare continues, the journey through underworlds descends deeper. These are soundtracks for Nightmares. Despite there being just three tracks on the album, it lasts just shy of 75 minutes.
"LULL is quite natural for me. It's an extension of me. Drifting. Just going to darkness. Into a space. LULL is drifting and droning, discovering more and more what can be done with sound. These soundscapes hugely appeal to me" (Mick Harris).
Originally released on Sentrax (the label of the late John Everall / Tactile), the CD suffered the 'disc rot' fate of many PDO pressings from 1988-1993, rendering most of that initial run unplayable.
Mixed by Justin K Broadrick (GODFLESH). Remastered by Martin Bowes (The Cage Studios) from the original recordings supplied by Mick Harris.

Available on CD for the first time, Soviet composers perform their works on the legendary ANS synthesizer. Recorded in 1971, "MUSICAL OFFERING" is 6 tracks (42 mins) of experiments on the unique machine by: Eduard Artemiev (2 tracks), Oleg Buloshkin, Sofia Gubaidulina, Edison Denisov, and Alfred Schnittke.
"MUSICAL OFFERING" demonstrates a 'musical' machine unlike any other and has long fascinated cutting edge, modern electronic composers, notably COIL and THE ANTI GROUP COMMUNICATIONS (TAGC) / CLOCK DVA, that have both released recordings utilising the ANS.
Try to imagine a score sounding by itself without a conductor; an orchestra without musical instruments. This magic is possible by using the musical ANS synthesizer. Created by Soviet scientist Evgeny Murzin over the course of 20 years, ANS is an instrument with which a composer can not only create but also draw their music without notes. You can see the twinkling of different lamps, the rotation of grooved glass discs... The drawings on the glass are 'sounding notes'. To listen to the drawn picture, press the button and a wonderful transformation will begin.
Inside the ANS are five rotating glass discs with 144 tones printed (by hand) on each one. Light is projected through the discs and onto photovoltaic cellbank which converts the light into electricity and sends signals to the ANS's amplifiers and bandpass filters. The ANS can generate 720 tones this way and, unlike a human musician, play them all at the same time.
Murzin dedicated his photoelectronic apparatus to Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin, hence the name ANS. Scriabin, the creator of the 'Poem of Ecstasy', and a famous explorer of synesthesia, used in his works a highly chromatic, new type of harmonic style designed to express his beliefs, views and wishes.

The first release from Sleep Research Facility since 2012's "Stealth" (Cold Spring) is inspired by the deep sea ocean floor. The Canadian-based composer explores notions of awareness and perception in the sub/unconscious listener. Focusing primarily on sound bereft of rhythm based energies, SRF provides an environments wherein the music adds texture to the silence. Using form without structure and concentrating on space as opposed to narrative, SRF entertains the idea that music can reside in the very fabric of sound itself. The brand new material here was created specifically for this split release.
Taking inspiration from the beautiful, but often harsh landscapes and environments of his home on Anglesey, North Wales, Llyn Y Cwn has built on the nautical theme of "Du Y Moroedd" (Cold Spring). These tracks are based on field recordings relating to the ocean, and could be seen as a companion piece to the album. 'Dale Dawn' features a recording of the dawn chorus made from the floating pontoon at Dale, Pembrokeshire. 'Pebble' includes the sound of waves crashing on a Dorset cobble beach, thousands of rocks colliding in chorus. 'Doppler Current Profiler' is based on the sound of an ADCP, an acoustic sonar instrument used to measure water currents - a 600Khz ping slowed to a heartbeat.
Limited Edition LP on audiophile black vinyl for best sound presentation. CD in mini-LP sleeve, replicating the vinyl design. The artwork features a separate front cover design with individual art for each side, making this a true split release.

Derek Jarman put together a programme of films for the London Film Festival, reflecting the cutting edge of the London avant-garde of the time. Recorded at the same time as "The Angelic Conversation", "Imagining October" was filmed in the Eisenstein Museum in Moscow, Vladimir Mayakovsky’s grave at Novodevichy Cemetery, the GUM department store facing red square, and the fire temples of Baku in Azerbaijan. The painting sequences with a group of soldiers (Angus Cook, Stephen Thrower, Peter Doig and Keir Wahid) was filmed in London. Jarman considered it one of the best, if not the best, of his shorter works. It was intended as an agit-prop work and the combination of music and imagery remains powerful to this day.

"Until The Day I Die", the third album from Australian post-industrial outfit KOLLAPS, is a merciless and visceral assault on the senses and continues the trajectory of the band's idiosyncratic approach in their creation of sound. The album showcases an uncompromising force of harsh post-industrial music narrated by overarching themes of condemnation and redemption; of violence, romanticism, sexuality, and addiction. Much of the creation and lyrical conceptualisation of the record has been stylised and presented using William S. Burroughs' cut-up method.

A wide variety of metals and raw materials were used in the creation of the album including metal grates, a rusted hoist, cement cylinders, field recordings, hammering of various decrepit objects, broken amplifiers, an exposed reverb tank, various synthesizers, and the infamous metal coil; a crudely self-constructed artifice that has become iconic in its use across KOLLAPS' triptych of releases and lengthy touring history in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

The new SONOLOGYST album, "Interdimensional", explores the paraphysical dimension of cosmic music. It completes the dilation process of his sound, which began with the albums "Silencers" and "Ancient Death Cults And Beliefs", which now form an ideal trilogy inspired by what is beyond the boundaries of science.
"Interdimensional" is inspired by the scientist Michio Kaku who theorized what could be the remote future of the human species; beyond matter, the stars, and known dimensions. A future that could lead us to the victory over the end of everything, beyond the foreseen and inevitable death of the universe known to us.
Also a cosmic record in terms of sound, "Interdimensional" is pervaded by a sense of stasis reminiscent of Thomas Köner's isolationist electronics, but still characterised by the use of electrified instruments, analogue synthesizers and recordings of resonant metal objects. Unlike the previous albums, however, the typical dark experimental / post industrial sound of SONOLOGYST is filtered through hazy warping reverberations and infinite delays, which musically depict the intergalactic journey of a civilization in search of a possible future beyond death.

The impulse for Gauze is to be a prophylactic talisman and ward for the families directly involved with the Burial Hex project, though it can be effective for anyone who needs an extra layer of defense. The art, lyrics and sound were all layered together with supersensible content generated specifically for this purpose. Beyond just protection and defense, Gauze is an invitation to transcend sclerotic ways of experiencing incarnation, by freely juxtaposing increasingly divergent forms, and reconciling all with warmth and passion. Such has been the work of the Burial Hex project since its inception, striving towards a gestalt of timeless and enduring realms via a benign spiritual interaction with conflicting beings.

Llyn Y Cwn's "Du Y Moroedd" (Welsh - the black of the sea) is an album of abyssal dark ambient - environmental soundscapes and atmospheres from above, below and beside the ocean; field recordings made onboard vessels at sea; sounds from submerged recording devices deep underwater; recordings from the coasts of North Wales to Greenland and the Arctic Ocean.
"The tracks were created onboard the RV Prince Madog whilst conducting research using multibeam sonar to locate, survey and identify shipwrecks from WW1. The multibeam sonar creates images of the seabed using acoustic reflections. It is quite an experience to watch the sonar reveal an unsurveyed wreck and be the first person to "see" the ship for over 100 years; the vessel sitting at the bottom of the ocean waiting in the dark to be discovered.
The album features recordings from the hull of RRS James Clark Ross whilst ploughing through ice fields off Greenland, from a "sound trap" attached to an anchor as it descended through 80m of water to the seabed, and sounds from onboard the RV Prince Madog with its pitched engine drone. There is also a recording of the bell at Trwyn Du lighthouse, Anglesey, that was made in August 2020, days before the bell was removed to be replaced with a modern fog horn - prior to this, the bell had rung every 30 seconds since 1922" (Benjamin Ian Powell).

First time on vinyl for Trepaneringsritualen's Swedish Ritual Industrial masterpiece, originally released 2011. Out of print since the 2015 CD edition, we're very proud to announce 'Veil The World' on vinyl for the first time, with new artwork by Thomas Ekelund (ᚦᛟᚦ ⅩⅠⅩ | Nullvoid). Ltd x 500 copies on bone white, 180g vinyl. Due to demand, we are also reissuing the CD edition in a digipak with the new 2021 artwork.
»All seals have been broken« proclaims a demonic voice on the titular track of Veil The World, and that is something terrifyingly evident in the music contained therein. On Veil The World, Trepaneringsritualen veers from crepuscular ritual moods to rabid death chants reveling, even celebrating the imminent end of flesh. Veil the World - originally released in a very limited and ultra-lavish box by Kości Tapes in 2011 - marks the half-way point between the earlier, more atmospheric works of T × R × P, and the more visceral aggression of the later material.
Trepaneringsritualen explores themes of religion, magick and the hidden realms of consciousness, taking its musical cues from the old school of ritual ambient & death industrial.
