MILLIONS of furious comedy-goers have been left high and dry after Peter Kay, 50, 5ft 6in, Bolton, participated in the DEPLORABLE act of two gig cancellations through no fault of his own.

‘Garlic bread.’, said Kay, of comedy fame, through teary eyes in his address to the nation on Tuesday.

When probed for further comment, Kay wrote ‘Do you remember in the summer and you’d have to close the curtains to keep heat out? Ay? What about 80s cartoons? Remember them?’

Peter John Kay, often referred to by his stage name ‘Peter Kay’, is known for his quick-witted comedy quips and jabs – including, but not limited to, ‘cheesecake’ and ‘garlic bread’.

Hundreds have voiced their concerns after Peter Kay had two of his shows cancelled.

One comedy fanatic, who wished to remain anonymous, commented that they are ‘upset’ and ‘sad’ at the news of Peter Kay, the Bolton-born comedian, having had two shows cancelled. The ill-fated events, in which tens were expected to laugh, have been unceremoniously scrapped leaving superfans feeling seriously fobbed off. Tens of people will now be unable to bare witness to the events that will transpire at the Peter Kay comedy stand-up show.
