Another fantastic project to be involved with providing the Aerial Footage of Smiths Dock in North Shields for the North Shields Heritology Project

Showing the old and the new of the area of what was the largest dry dock in the world, which was so busy back in the day.

The Smith's Dock Company Limited was formed in 1899 and was the biggest dry dock owners and ship repairers in the world, employing thousands of local people...

It has been a pleasure working with CBK Adventures for a couple of years now on various projects, providing photography for PR shoots, website Imagery and also aerial/drone imagery to display their achievements and the fantastic services that they offer.

It is great to see how the company has expanded over that time not only in providing fantastic outdoor adventures, but also the opening of their new CBK Base Camp, a new retail store in North Shields, where you can purchase Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Wet Suits, Wild Swimming Accessories and much more.

Amazing to think that 39 years after leaving Linskill High School, I would be here taking Aerial Footage for the Linskill Centre as it is now.

How technology has progressed in that time is amazing and it was all a bit surreal going back.
