The chefs who represent the best of education, health and social care catering are Raheem Mogan, the current LACA School Chef of the Year (SCOTY), Brian Preston, the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) Care Chef of the Year, together with Dylan Lucas and Darby Hayhurst, the 2023 #NHS Chef competition winners.

During 20-24 May 2024 Public Sector Catering Week will highlight and celebrate the valuable contributions of individuals and teams involved in providing food services in schools, hospitals, care homes universities, government offices, and other public facilities.
Each day will have a theme, these will look at:

🍆 plant-based menus to help meet sustainability targets
🚜 local sourcing
👜 careers in public sector catering
🦐 managing allergens.
🦸And over the course of the whole week Public Sector Catering will be encouraging everyone to use social media to tell us about your own Public Sector Catering heroes. Tag them and share on social media the food, teamwork and smiles using the hashtags #PSCWeek #PSCHero.
