Our March editions have been dropping through your letterboxes over the weekend across Frampton and Coalpit Heath.

This month we share details of GoodTimes Yate festival with headliners such as – JoolsHolland, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Mcfly. There arealso some great acts performing just over the bridge in Chepstow, at Drill Hall and Castell Roc festival.

Easter is early this year, taking place at the end of March. We bring you details of Easter services, fairs, crafts and egg hunts within the magazine.

If you are looking to get involved locally in taking care of our green spaces, in pursuit of developing a Frome Valley Pollinator Pathway, Winterbourne and Frome Valley Environmental Group have secured funding from West of England Combined Authority. The environmental group are putting on a numberof local events starting with a Tree Planting Day at Whiteshill Common Hambrook, on 2nd March and the Frome Valley Growing Project Open day onSunday 3rd March.

50 year celebrations for Frampton Cotterell RFC are in full swing! This popular local rugby club has gonefrom strength to strength, starting with one team, itnow has sixteen across junior sections, women'sand 3 men's.

Charity Match at St. Mary's OB RFC this coming weekend - do drop in and support if you can!

Cornwall Fire service V Wales Fire service at Northwood Park! Featuring some of our senior mens players!

It’s £5 entry and all money raised gets split between Sam Polledri Foundation and the Fire Service Foundation.

Be great to see as many of you there as possible as it’s all for a good cause.

Clubhouse will be open for the matches with Dorris Deals open during the England match... £2 Pints!

Come support some great charities and enjoy a cold one watching the rugby!

Highway Code rule change reminder, please be aware

The Highway Code has changed from today (29.01.22)

When driving, you should now pass horse riders and horse-drawn vehicles at speeds under 10 mph and allow at least 2 metres of space. Check the changes, let’s keep each other safe.

Children's Hospice South West are delighted to announce they will be holding their Christmas fundraiser event ‘Santas On The Run’ in the grounds of Charlton Farm this year. They are looking forward to welcoming families and friends of all ages signing up and running in their festive gear on Sunday 3rd December. Apparently we are due for some better weather again this weekend! Why not get out and about locally - Old Down Country Park are offering child entry for just £1 when accompanied by a full paying adult or concession. They also have some great things happening at during half term!

This year, we are asking children in the local schools and community to design our Christmas light switch on poster! 🎄🎅

If your budding artist would like to get involved we ask that the designs are either A4 or A3 and portrait. And that artwork is dropped into the management suite (located upstairs next in the east offices) no later than Friday 20th October.

We will then be asking you all to pick the winners! 🎉
