🎥New work klaxon!🎉

The wonderful Exeter Northcott Theatre came to me with this gem of a script, and a healthy amount of carte blanche, to create a trailer launching their vision for the future.

They are an amazing organisation. A real driving force of creativity in the south west, providing outstanding support to emerging artists, and it's a pleasure to work with them.

Throwback Thursday to one of my all time faves!

With long term co-conspirators Le Navet Betet, we made the most ambitious trailer for their touring show The Three Musketeers, involving wild animals and 5 locations in one day, including Exeter Cathedral!

The result is epic but still very silly, which is always the raison d'être.

I also wrote myself a Hitchcock-esque cameo!

'Houdini's Greatest Escape' is the latest offering from fantastic theatre company New Old Friends.

An original and hilarious crime caper with inventive set pieces, proper 'how did they do that?' magic tricks, and a whole host of brilliant characters - including a circus elephant!

This was my first time collaborating with the company and marketing team JMA and I hope it isn't the last!

Simon’s Video Kitchen - The Origin Story

Or “How London’s and Brighton’s friendliest videography service came to be.”

I actually began my love affair with film in front of the camera. I originally trained as an actor and have been in films, soaps and a bunch of commercials.

​Many years ago I bought myself a DSLR. Upon discovering it could shoot video I dragged a couple of willing friends to the woods and we made a short film. Although it didn't win any oscars (it was a particularly competitive year) I had the best day ever. Turns out that what I thought was a love of acting was in fact a love of filmmaking!

​As the years roll by and many shoots have passed, my kit and I have changed, but every day behind the camera is still the best day ever.
