I'm Laura, and I write because I want my kids to be able to read books about other kids having fabulous adventures, no matter what their ability is. Wobbly kids, kids with wheels, kids who communicate in a different way - they all need role models too.
My muse is my daughter who is autistic and has cerebral palsy, with help from my awesome (if long suffering) hubby and amazing son. Sometimes my cat, Nerys. My writing is fueled by tea and chocolate in no particular order.
