Peter Lang Oxford is a branch of the Peter Lang International Academic Publishing Group. Peter Lang’s first UK office was set up in Canterbury in 1996.

Ten years later the business was incorporated at the Oxfordshire location it had expanded into in 1999. In 2012, the UK operation moved into its present offices in central Oxford, at the heart of the academic and publishing community. ord office publishes the full range of academic titles – monographs, collected papers, conference proceedings, Festschriften, journals, yearbooks – and covers all disciplines. It has particular strengths in modern languages (with several long-established series in French and German Studies), Theology, Education, and new emerging disciplines in Film Studies and Q***r Studies, amongst others. The programme is constantly expanding and moving into different areas, and we welcome submissions and proposals for new series and books in all spheres of the humanities and social sciences. Peter Lang Oxford is staffed by a team of talented and energetic professionals dedicated to the commissioning and production of academic books of the highest quality. They are committed to enhancing the reputation of the Peter Lang imprint and bringing it to the attention of the scholarly community in the UK and Ireland.
