In Feb 2023, we created MyKaraoke (affectionately named "MYK (Mic)" which is a free (and Ad free) resource for venues and hosts to list events and advertise their business. 55,000 events later, and we could not be more proud of our users achievements!

🌟 What I'm Offering:
Hands-On Training: Learn the ins and outs of hosting and DJing from someone with decades of experience.
Use of Professional Equipment: You will have access to all the necessary equipment, ensuring you get the best start.
On-the-Job Experience: Assist at our events, with transport, food, and drinks provided.
First Paid Gig: Once you're ready, I will set you up with your first paid gig and we'll provide business support and coaching to keep the gigs coming in!

📢 About Me
I'm Adam and am based in St. Ann's Chapel, and while I have a very busy day job, I love to share my passion for music on the side. With 22 years of experience, I've performed in large bars and clubs across the UK, and now I enjoy running private events and hosting at local venues having started My Event Group in Feb 2023. I particularly love mashing up tracks to create something unique and exciting. You can check out some of my mixes on our page to get a feel for what I do.

🎤 What I Need from You:
Passion for Music: This is a must!
Willingness to Learn: No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
Openness to Using a Microphone: You should be willing to build confidence and engage with the audience.

Thanks so much for coming down to Music Bingo at The Rifle Volunteer! It was lovely to see many returning players, with £125 given away in cash prizes over 3 games - Well done to the lucky few!

As I mentioned last night, each and every Thursday night is packed with something different to keep you entertained over summer:-

1st Thurs - Open Mic
2nd Thurs - Music Bingo
3rd Thurs - Quiz Night
4th Thurs - Bingo (with numbers) hosted by the Community Group

I'm also looking forward to the Tamar Valley Fete on Sat 22nd June, where I'll be grabbing a radio mic and keeping you informed of the important goings on during the day (seen as Paul asked so nicely!).

THIS THURSDAY - Your monthly installment of Music Bingo at our local!

If you have never experienced our Music Bingo games, you may think it's a quiz and you have to be a know it all on the past 7 decades of hits... BUT we are different - showing Artist and Title on the Big Screen, you will easily be able to mark off those songs whilst enjoying a night of food, drinks and good times at The Rifle Volunteer...

It's possibly one of the best nights 3 of your pound coins can buy.

With the Terrace and Bar Menus, and no need to book - come down early, pick your favourite hang out in the function room, and let's make it a great night! I'll be around from 6pm.

Music Bingo Cards are £1 - with all funds distributed as CASH prizes. Bring your reading glasses if required.

How much did we raise for Callington Youth Project Group at Music Bingo? Whilst the sun was bright and most sensible people were at the beach, there was singing and dabbing at the Social Club!

Thank you to all our amazing players and for raising £160 towards this worthwhile cause, including £40 at the Raffle!

We appreciate you coming down to support this fundraiser. Music Bingo returns to normal at our next event on 30th June.

A tale of two 40th birthdays on the same day, and one of the best karaoke nights thanks to Callington Town FC

Loads of great videos and a few photos from the bank holiday weekend - from supplying the sound and lighting for Luisa's 40th garden party, giving DJ Beth a spin the decks at her 40th to ending the weekend with a bang at The End of Season Karaoke Party for Callington Town. Who'd have thought that these boys (and ladies) love singing Adele (and Westlife)!

Special thanks goes to my niece, Mayya who for the first time joined as my karaoke assistant and did an absolute fantastic job at organising your requests and being such a massive help last night! 50 quid well spent ;)

We'll be doing it all again for Callington Colts FC - Official on 8th June Presentation Evening, with my time being on the house as a thank you for the work this club does with our local kids!

So grateful to all of our lovely Music Bingo players at the very first one in St. Ann's Chapel last night! There was singing, dabbing and loads of cash was given away. A heartfelt THANK YOU for coming down to try it out.

Thank you to Paul at The Rifle Volunteer for the trust shown in booking us and for teamwork/attention to detail put into preparing the room. Always great when you don't have to load speakers and lighting. We'll be returning for Music Bingo on the 2nd Thursday of the month with new games, and some summer fun!

Introduce a Virgin
For every new player you introduce to Music Bingo at the Rifle, we'll give you a free card on us. Just turn up with your friends and perhaps luck will also be on your side.

Finally, it's Friday - the weather is lush so whatever you are doing this weekend have a great one! I'm already looking forward to Callington Mayfest, with Family Friendly Music Bingo at the Social Club from 6pm.
