Geek Pride's very own Peter Ray Allison will be one of the DMs running a game of D&D and raising money for charity at Dungeons & Dragons: Elvaston Castle.

Held in the gothic splendour of Elvaston Castle, players will enjoy a six-hour session of D&D (with a break for lunch). There will also be a competition for the best costume, with a prize donated by 7th City Collectables.

Finally watched Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves last night and my only disappointment was that we did not watch it sooner.

It wonderfully celebrates the game (and gaming), with lots of little nods to the franchise. There needs a sequel to be made using the same cast, but playing completely different characters.

Jordan is a wonderful character in and presented a brilliantly nuanced portrayal of gender-fluidity. I hope we see more of them in the next season. .

Gen V is not a subtle show, but amongst the blood and body fluids, it portrayed an accurate representation of transgender identity.

We at Geek Pride are all deeply saddened to learn that Donald Sutherland has died.

was a legend of film and television, starring in The Dirty Dozen, Kelly's Heroes, JFK, Outbreak and dozens of others. Genre fans perhaps know him best as the tyrannical President Snow in The Hunger Games films.

Interestingly, Sutherland was on the NSA watchlist in the early seventies due to his anti-war activities.

Rest in peace, sir. You will be missed.

Well Ladies and gents we have our winner.

We asked: What is the best live action Star Wars TV series?

And our winner with 54% was the Mandalorian!

It was close race for a while with Andor looking like it would win but after two days of voting it dropped to second with 34% of the vote.

Sadly Kenobi and Ahsoka only garnered 3% of the vote

Currently airing Acolyte got 2% (we appreciate it has not finished it's first season)

Finally, it would seem that even Boba Fett riding a Rankor was not enough to save any honour for The Book of Boba Fett that noone at all thought it was worth a vote at 0%
