There was a samucha wala in Delhi and a big company office in front of his shop. One day a manager went to the shop to eat samucha.
Question to Samucha wala with 2 samuchas, you have decorated the shop very nicely, the systems are good, nice administration, so it wouldn't be nice to have a job like me with your planning, aren't you wasting time selling this samucha?
Samucha wala said with a smile - Sir my job is much better than you. 10 years ago today I used to sell samucha in pieces. Then my income was 1000/month and your salary was 10k. Today after 10 years my income is 1 lakh and in which month 1 lakh is more and your salary is 40 thousand. So my job isn't better than yours?
My son will see this business after me. She'll get a decorating business but will your son and daughter get a position like you? I started at 0 but my boys and girls won't start at 0. The boys and girls of the jobs have to start from 0. You can't make your son and daughter sit in your position even if you want to. The pain you did 10 years ago, your sons and daughters have to suffer the same. It's my responsibility to organize the future of my sons and daughters and I did what you couldn't.
The man went away after paying 50 taka bill after hearing the words. Entrepreneur is born with hard work, behind which lies strong decisions, planning and hard work.

Alex Batty: Teen from Oldham missing for six years found in France

A 17-year-old British boy from Oldham who went missing in Spain in 2017 has been found in France, authorities say.

Alex Batty was found in the town of Revel, east of Toulouse, early on Wednesday morning.

The prosecutor's office in Toulouse told the BBC the family had confirmed the teenager's identity.
Alex had been missing for six years after going on holiday with his mother and grandfather.

The mother and grandfather, who do not have parental guardianship of Alex, have not been located but remain wanted in connection with his disappearance.

Alex is currently being looked after by social services, awaiting the arrival of British police and consular staff who are on their way to bring him back to England.

Taking shape: New Tommyfield Market site impresses traders

Traders at Tommyfield Market joined Oldham Council Leader, Cllr Arooj Shah, this week to celebrate a major milestone on the development of the market's new home.

The steel frame, which will form the new market hall, is now being put in place on Parliament Square.

Members of the Tommyfield Traders' Association visited the site to sign their names on one of the steel beams and see the work taking place on Oldham's brand-new market.

Cllr Arooj Shah, who is also Cabinet Member for Reform and Regeneration, said: "I'm so happy to be able to join our fantastic Tommyfield traders and, together, mark this next step in the creation of our all-new market hall.

"We're making great progress and it's really starting to come together, alongside all the other fantastic redevelopments taking place in and around Spindles and Parliament Square.

"Within the Spindles shopping centre itself, new offices on the upper levels are now almost complete, while on the Parliament Square site, progress is quickly being made on the new market, events space and archives.

"Then, just a stone's throw away, we have the refurbishment of the Old Library, the creation of our new theatre and the ongoing improvements to our streets and public areas to make them easier to get around and more enjoyable places to spend time.

"There's so much to look forward to and I can't wait to see the new market open its doors."

The redevelopment is being carried out by Willmott Dixon, who gave the group a guided tour of the construction site.

Rick Whitmore, owner of Meat in the Middle butchers, said: "It’s looking really impressive. I’m excited about the entrance coming in from Spindles and going down through the market. I think it will be superb when it’s all built."

Ray Aslam, owner of sweet shop Kandy Kingdom, said: "It’s exciting and it’s started to kick in now. Now we’ve had a look round we can plan how we’re going to set up and design our stalls.”

Claire Robinson, who runs florist Blooming Dales, said: “It was really good to have a look round and see how things are progressing.

It was a really nice idea for the Council Leader to let us all sign a steel beam that is going to be here forever. It’s coming along nicely and we’re really excited about the move."

In addition to the new home for Tommyfield Market, the Spindles redevelopment includes a new events space, new archives and brand-new offices for Oldham Council staff as well as a co-working space for small businesses and entrepreneurs

Council staff moving into the Spindles will free up the Civic Centre site for redevelopment, as part of the new partnership with Muse, to build 2,000 homes in the town centre with work starting soon.

Access Oldham will also be moving into Spindles, providing a more central location for residents to access vital services such as council tax, housing benefits and financial services.

Opposite the new market will also be the revamped Egyptian Room, with a street food-style food court, and the Cultural Quarter right around the corner, with the restored Old Library and new theatre.

Oldham's town centre regeneration will unlock hundreds of millions of pounds in investment, as well as 1,000 new jobs and 100 new apprenticeships. To find out more, visit www.oldham.gov.uk/regen

Consultation Drop-in Called for Carers Week
—————————————————————

FOR carers, nothing beats face-to-face support. To bring it back as soon as possible, Tameside Council is holding a special consultation event to coincide with Carers Week.

On Tuesday, June 7 (11am to 2pm) carers and other professionals are invited to Tameside Carers Centre at Tameside One, Ashton, to take a look at plans for the new carers’ service and base, and to give their views on how the council can continue to assist them going forward into 2022 and beyond.

There will also be an opportunity to talk to other services including Action Together, dementia and employment support, transitions workers and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service about the help and advice they can offer.

An increasing number of people in Tameside and Glossop are carers and spend a large part of their lives providing unpaid support to family or friends. They may be looking after someone who is frail, disabled or ill, or who has mental-health or substance-misuse problems.

While this can be a rewarding experience, some carers find it challenging to take care of their own wellbeing while caring for someone else. Tameside Carers Service provides information and support to make the load easier to bear.

Anyone who would like to attend, or who needs help in their caring role, should contact Tameside Carers Centre on 0161 342 3344 or by emailing [email protected] The service provides free and impartial information, advice, support and advocacy.

Cllr John Taylor, Tameside Council’s executive member for adult social care, said: “We’ve maintained our service to carers throughout the pandemic and its lockdowns but mainly by telephone.

“However, nothing replaces face-to-face contact. This kind of support, which we have traditionally provided, is highly valued by carers. That’s why we’re holding the consultation. We want carers to drop in and let us have their views so that we can bring it back as soon as possible.”

Carers Week is an annual nationwide campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face, and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities across the UK.

It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

www.tameside.gov.uk/carers

www.carersweek.org

Join us for this special Carers Week Care for a Cuppa. In addition to our usual chats and cuppas, John from our Policy team will be joining us to discuss Carers UK's petitions, campaigns, advocacy and future plans. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn how to be involved.
