Masterpeace Recordings is the resulting product of the creative mind of a certain individual known as DJ Mixjah. Based in Bristol, Mr Mixjah, formerly known as DJ Rapid, has performed at legendary events including Joy, Newstyle, Future Funk, BreakBeat Culture, One Nation, Mutiny, Life and Shanti Sound. He has been honing his production skills for a few years now and has recently worked with danceh

all superstars Bounty Killer, Vybz Kartel and Kymani Marley. Combine all that musical innovation with a real talent for abstract graffiti art and that is the basis of Masterpeace Recording… Giving Mixjah a platform to showcase not only his music but his art as well. Having close affiliations with rising Bristol label Ghetto Dub and not wanting to be tied to any one genre, Masterpeace will situate itself somewhere within the realms of non-tempo specific Bass music. This could encompass anything from UKG to Jungle to Drum&Bass to Dub… Big things a gwarn, direct from downtown Bristol!
