We are heartbroken to hear the news of Simon Fisher-Becker’s passing.

Simon was a power house of an actor, and had many fans from the several franchises he has stared in, including Doctor Who.

We are so proud that Simon acted in our first ever production back in 2019 ‘Christmas Buffet Roulette’ and really helped us as a production company get started.

Our thoughts go to his husband Tony, and all of Simon’s family and friends.

Rest in Peace.

We are excited to release a teaser for our upcoming coming short film ‘Torn’.

‘Torn’ is a short film commissioned by NYAS - The National Youth Advocacy Service Cymru to support their 'My Things Matter' campaign, pushing for dignity for care experienced children and young people.

Written by James Evans, this story shows Evie as she is spontaneously moved from one foster family to another, and during her move, precious personal items have gone missing due to her belongings having been thrown into bin bags for transportation.

Directed by Hollie O'Leary, this marks TTL's first time welcoming aboard a new director to our team. Torn has been produced by Andrew Creak.

That’s a wrap!

This weekend has been a busy one as we went into production on our upcoming short ‘Torn’, an original story by screenwriter James Evans, made in association with NYAS - The National Youth Advocacy Service Cymru to support their “My Things Matter” Campaign, advocating for care experienced children to be shown more dignity and respect when they are being moved from one home to another.

‘Torn’ has been directed by the brilliant Hollie O’Leary and produced by TTL’s very own Andrew Creak, marking this as the first production of ours with a guest director.

The film stars Sky Howells in the lead role of Evie, with Juliet Rimell as foster carer Sue Williams, and Connor Charles as care worker Glen. The story explores how 80% of care experienced children have had their belongings moved from home to home in bin bags, resulting by in many personal items being damaged or worse, lost.

“Torn” will be premiering at the “My Things Matter” campaign event in Cardiff Bay next month.

We are very proud that our short film ‘Cost of Living’ which looked at the juxtaposition between the cost of living crisis and the cost of the Coronation, has won ‘Best Short Film’ at film festival.

We would like to thank the festival organisers for putting together an amazing body of working class films and we commend the other films in this category.

We would also like to thank the wonderful cast and crew on this production that helped bring this low budget short to life.
