Ancient Groove Music Music editions made for performers by performers. We also publish books on music and literature written by musicians.

Ancient Groove Music specialises in producing editions of sacred choral music as well as other vocal and ensemble works, having the highest standards of music engraving, academic rigour and performability. The catalogue consists of scholarly editions, from the Renaissance through the Baroque to the present day, designed by performers for performers. Wherever possible, we strive to meet the recommendations in British Standard BS 4754:1982 for the presentation of music scores and parts.

Antonio Lotti was a prolific and highly successful composer of opera for the Venetian stage. He also 'fixed' a company of some of the leading opera singers of the day to perform at the Saxon Court of Augustus the Strong in Dresden. (Several of those singers would go on to sing for Handel in London.)
