I haven't mentioned this before, but I love the fact that the immersive nature of the Loxwood Joust extends to the language used in all of their Facebook posts too. I have a feeling one of the first rules of re-enactment is: Never. Come. Out. Of. Character. 🙌

Good people of the realm! Travelling to the Kingdom of Loxwood this Summer? 🛡️

Should ye be travelling from far afield to Loxwood in West Sussex, and wish to rest your weary head, there are plenty of places to stay locally or you could camp in the Kingdom for our third weekend! ⚔️

Plus, there shalt be a shuttle bus running from Horsham Station to the Loxwood Joust throughout the day of the Jousts (and making the return journey!) should you not have a metal steed or if you wish to partake in some of our highly esteemed Loxwood Mead or enjoy the delights of the tavern! 🛡️

Should you be travelling by metal steed (car!) we would encourage you to buddy up with your friends and family to come together as Queen Helena is ahead of her time and keen on sustainable travelling! Do not forget you shalt need a car park ticket for our fields as space is limited and you can get these online. ⚔️

Completely & totally worth doing - knowing what colours suit you saves you money (no more wear it once, then realise you look like you have advanced jaundice) saves you anxiety (is this colour actually making me look like I'm blushing all the time), saves you time (will that colour look good on me at the party, ermmmmmm). Queen Helena hast decreed the immersive festival that tis the Loxwood Joust 2024 shalt now be THREE glorious weekends and you shalt have the opportunity to bring your tent and CAMP in the Kingdom on the final weekend! ⚔️

Step back in time on one or all of the first three weekends of August 2024 for an immersive medieval festival as you’ve never experienced before!🛡️

We shalt have battles, jousts, and on the first weekend you shalt be entertained by the Mediaeval Baebes on the Woodland Stage, and on the second and third weekends by Trobar De Morte 🎶

Head over to ye olde website and get your tickets now; there are great savings to be had on the gate prices, PLUS our banquet tickets are also available.
