There’s a lot of messages I’m trying to work through as well as getting used to iOS (I know) as well as a ton of personal stuff I’m dealing with right now.

There’s also a lot of people who I’d like to thank for their kindness and patience and while I’d prefer to do that personally, I’m struggling right now.

I will survive. Got uni to look forward to, my car is back on the road, and I’m putting the work in to sort my head out.

The Server will now be down for up to five working days as some ongoing improvements are being made. Everyone this affects should have an email. Hopefully will be up and running by tomorrow but we'll see.

In the meantime, google drive will be used to fill the file sharing void.

Please ensure you have granted the appropriate permissions to any files shared. I cannot mix your song/edit your podcast if I do not have permission to view AND download your folder!

Been pretty busy. Went back to college to be a better musician, got a job with the local council working with the venues and even released my own music.

Howdy folks. As some of you may have noticed, my website is down. I'm currently reworking it and keeping it offline as I've taken on as much as I can manage.

Great Bear Sound will be selling off what remains of our PA systems as part of the "post-pandemic" changes (be under no illusion, there's still a pandemic, wash your damn hands).

In related news, Great Bear Sound is aiming to grow and I'm aiming to implement some serious upgrades, so watch this space...

So, it's been an exciting few weeks since I took up a new job. Learning a lot about theatre production and for the past few nights have been operating the lighting desk and quizzing the resident sound engineer incessantly. Fortunately he seems to like talking almost as much as I like to ask questions!

This will probably be my last post until the new year so merry xmas!

Due to ongoing (non-Covid related) health issues, I'll be focusing on the mixing side and suspending all P.A. hire duties. I am still available for live sound however, due to my health I cannot provide PA systems or desks.

The website is down until I've decided on a new service provider because the service I was getting was trash and its current state was making me look bad.

Godaddy is good for simple stuff, but the moment you need something a bit more it starts having seizures and pictures load upside down. AND to fix these issues, they want to charge out the w***o!

Now I'm clued up enough to build a website from scratch, can anyone recommend a hosting service?

Hey folks, I've been seeing a lot of people either wanting to record or just get back into playing but their axes aren't in great shape.
So, I'm determined to get at least one bass and/or guitar into shape, every month. All for the price of FREE!
Taking inspiration from Know Your Gear / Phillip Mcknight and the "Sharpen My Axe" series.

So drop a message or comment and tell me why I should sharpen your axe. This may include new hardware, a setup, fret recrowning and so on. Whatever your axes needs to get it playable, I'll do my damn best to meet them.

However, some things are currently beyond my ability and budget such as headstock repair and fret replacement.

People will be chosen partially based on needs, my budget and ability. If its too tough to choose, names will be chosen at random.

Currently only available to Chesterfield and surrounding area. Collection will be done by myself, observing social distancing and other guidance. PLEASE DO NOT SANITISE YOUR GUITARS! I'll handle all cleaning and return them covid free!
And yes, current guidance allows me to do this as its work.
