Small hillside towns in Sicily seem to be hidden gems. Savoca however is firmly on the tourist map. Being one of the locations for The Godfather.

It is a gem nevertheless. There were people preparing the church for a wedding in the afternoon. A TV crew filming locals ahead of a religious fiesta that week.

We must have the patience of one of the local residents in La Digue in the Seychelles. Like the giant turtle, we need to enjoy the hiatus and look inward as travel starts again soon. Its going to be a whole new world out there and I for one relish the opportunity to rediscover it. Where next then?

In an ever evolving world one has to keep up with it or risk getting left behind in a romanticised past. We create the past constantly and dream about the future.

Jayant’s Wine Cellar…hic! is a concept that seeks to tie in time, my time to be more precise. And, create a space from pictures, writings and influences from travel and people met along the way.

This concept will initially be offered as an on-line gallery from where you can buy a photograph and choose a print. The runs will be limited and signed.

The next phase of this concept is the Wine cellar space where you can enjoy a glass or even a bottle of enjoyably sourced wine and spend some time in a happy space. It’ll be a space of adventure, travel, tales, books, wine, and some food will play a part.
