Good people, Great music As well as hosting parties, we will also be reguarly updating this website with mixes from our residents, friends and guest djs.

The brand Tahanan was created as a radio show on Chicago House FM in 2007 by people that are passionate about the underground house music scene. Our aim is to share that passion by creating parties using only talented up and coming djs with approachable, friendly personalities as well as household names. We look forward to bringing you an exciting blend of great music by good people.

Resident Chris Brabrook revisiting one of our favourite era's of house music. Late 90's early 2000's when the music coming out of the West Coast of America was awesome, labels like Siesta, Doubledown, Tango and Maya ruled the sound system's. The sound was funky, trippy and deep but over time kind of fizzled out. Hope you enjoy this little snap shot in time.

We are excited to announce that Tahanan are throwing a party at our favourite local venue Herd in Bedford on Friday 8th April. The party will be free entry and a chance for us all to celebrate a number of things we all missed during the pandemic. Tahanan turns 10 years old this year and the time feels right to get back on the dancefloor!
