Bbcsms Social Media Research Incubator Inspired by in May 2011: A collaborative, crowd-infused research agenda for journalism and social media

Established during the 2011 BBC Social Media Summit staged in London by the BBC College of Journalism, this page is designed to connect researchers, journalists, developers and media organisations with a professionally relevant research agenda. We want to foster research partnerhships, share knowledge and resources and collectively help figure out a sustainable future for journalism in the social

media age. The idea for this page is to provide a channel for discussion and to facilitate potential partnerships. Behind this collaboration is an enthusiastic international group of journalist-academics including Dr Claire Wardle (), Julie Posetti () & Paul Bradshaw () who are invested in researching the field and feeding outcomes back into industry in a digestible, practically applicable way.
