Wheel Up Wheel up is a new record label specializing in Dubwise Sound system music. Releases will be both vinyl and digital.

Wheel up records was founded by real sound system people and is a fresh and forward thinking record label specializing is dubwise sound system music drawing from the foundation of Jamaican culture with a modern global twist. Encompassing elements of dub, reggae, jungle music, dubstep and all aspects of sound system and bass culture from artists located all over the globe. Each physical release wil

l feature original drawn artworks and hand-stamped sleeves creating a unique bespoke and collectible product. Our first release is a 7" and digital collaboration between label chief Glen Calculus and London based vocalist Dark Angel. "WUP-001 Ram Dance Master" is very much a tip of the cap to the foundations of Jamaican roots music and early dancehall rub a dub with a freshness that would fit alongside many modern dubstep/bass music releases. Follow up releases will continue in this trend. With artists from the uk and beyond we hope to build a unique label with output that can be trusted to maintain high standards in production and to move dancefloors and find its way into the boxes of many soundsystems, dj's and collectors alike.
