**Job Description:**
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Journalist Intern to join our team. As a Journalist Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of digital journalism, including researching, writing, editing, and fact-checking articles. You will work closely with our editorial team to pitch ideas, conduct interviews, and contribute to the production of compelling and informative content.
**Responsibilities:**
- Researching and fact-checking information for articles across different topics.
- Writing engaging and informative news articles, features, and opinion pieces.
- Pitching creative and original story ideas to the editorial team.
- Conducting interviews with sources and industry experts.
- Assisting with editing and proofreading content for accuracy, clarity, and style.
- Collaborating with other team members to meet deadlines and maintain editorial standards.
**Requirements:**
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in current events, politics, culture, and other relevant topics.
- Proficiency in conducting research using online sources and databases.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms is a plus.
