Let me ask you some more questions.

Are you a DJ bored of Compressed poorly mastered digital versions of vinyl

Do you want mids in your Mix. The mids are essential to avoid aural fatigue and top and bottom only tracks that just sound pony. Tracks that will not sound as good as they can on a bloody good rig if sourced from a suspect source

Badly converted vinyl to WAV pretty much drops the mid during conversion and compression and can sound so much better with better care and equipment during conversion

Are you wondering why you have to pay more for a WAV than an mp3. There’s zero reason. They (should) master to 48k WAV then downgrade to mp3. So in all truth it costs more to make an MP3.

If they don’t own the original vinyl which in many cases for digital download services they won’t, where or what is the source?

Ever wondered what pre amps, stylus and method they use to supply digital copies of vinyl

Ask yourself are they compressed to save space at source

Are they eq’d or coloured at point of transfer without knowing or checked and in doing so losing the sound from source

Why are the wavs they have smaller than the same track as a WAV I convert

If the tracks that came out on vinyl converted from vinyl at source….and sold as WAV….actually copied from CD

Are the Dj download services run by people who know a DAC from a ADC

Were they trained at the BBC

Were they trained at all
