They are Free of Charge and only eligible for EIH Registered players.

Come and join us for our Welcome Weeks to see what we are all about.

We are a player development orientated club which has the progress of the player at the heart of our ethos. We only ask for your best and help guide you along the way on your ice hockey journey.

A hectic but enjoyable weekend for D1N & D2N Play-off finals. Special guest of honour Val Wilkinson also there for the presentations.

Yesterday, we were joined at IceSheffield by Val Wilkinson, who was our guest of honour to present the awards after the NIHL North 1 final between Billingham Stars and Blackburn Hawks! 🏆

Val is a very popular figure within the UK hockey community, and it showed on Sunday as fans erupted into cheer when she stepped onto the ice to reward all the players for their efforts over the weekend.

Our longest-serving member, Val retired from her role at England Ice Hockey earlier this year after over four decades of service to the sport in the UK.

Both teams showed a massive amount of respect by collectively coming together after the NIHL North 1 final finished, to show thanks to Val for her years of service.

Making it extra special, stood behind Val was Billingham's assistant coach Rob Wilkinson, her son, and to his left was her grandson Callum, who participated in the event.

A huge thank you to all the fans, volunteers and players from both teams for their support, and thanks to Val for joining us 🏒👏

Following the end of Widnes Wild’s 23/24 season, we would like to take the opportunity to thank our #9, the legend who is ‘King’ Ken Armstrong!

After 10 years with the club, Ken has announced he will be hanging up his skates. During his time in Widnes, Ken has iced 319 games in a Wild jersey, racking up 16 goals, 28 assists and 52 PIMS.
