Thought I'd share a little snippet of my AI journey. I've been dabbling a lot over the last 12 months, exploring and testing out a number of AI tools for my own benefit. More recently I've been delving into "prompt engineering" particularly around image generation. I recently shared some images on my personal page that I generated using AI and thought I'd do a short video to talk about this aspect of my journey. As a "first-timer", the front door of the church is often the most difficult to enter.
Whether it's the fear of judgement or the feeling of being unwelcome, many people feel intimidated by the prospect of walking into a church.
However, with the advent of digital technology, churches now have the opportunity to reach people where they are: in their pockets.
By utilising social media, video, podcasts and other digital tools, churches can create a space for people to explore faith on their own terms. By providing resources and opportunities for connection and community, churches can help people to take their first steps on a journey of faith- without ever having to set foot in a physical building.
In a world that is increasingly digital, the church must evolve to meet people where they are- and that starts with the front door.

If you're like me you have those times where you struggle to get those creative juices flowing.
Talent is not enough.
Skill is not enough.
You have to be "in the zone" and sometimes that means looking for inspiration from something or someone. Finding an idea that resonates with you, that sparks something inside and acts as a catalyst for you to get back to your space of productivity and creativity.
If you're not in your "happy place" take a step back, have a coffee (or tea), relax and just spend some time looking at what others are doing - I promise you that you will find something that piques your interest and helps you get your mojo back

⏲Do you have time-enemies?
Two of my worst enemies are "procrastination" and "distractions" - they take me off track, they sap me of my mental energy ... and, when they're done, they laugh in my face.😔
One of the ways to "switch them off" that I have found works for me is to write down a plan for the day and stick to it. Someone said, "Plan your work and work your plan" 📋
Sticking to your plan is the bit that takes discipline.
An incentive is to tick off each task as it is completed - this is a simple but effective way of affirming yourself, charting your progress and giving yourself that small dose of "dopamine" that comes with achievement of something positive. 🤟
The best thing is, strangely, that even when you might not manage to complete everything on your list, the fact you did far more than you would have without it is a sense of accomplishment.

Managing social media is a ministry often misunderstood - the thought, energy and effort involved in the creative process is underestimated. Too much to say here but needless to say I will elaborate in due time!

Maintaining a well-balanced life often boils down to attending to the seemingly small details, such as taking regular breaks in order to prevent burnout, staying well organised and setting certain limits so that you don't end up letting the wrong things take over your life. I've found that while it may be tempting to respond quickly and bluntly when faced with difficult situations, it's important to stay centred so that I can assess the situation and respond rather than react. Taking this additional moment to reflect often gives me better outcomes.
