LET’S GO ON A JOURNEY TO EXPLORE OUR SPATIAL FUTURE!

ImmersiveX comes to CyberiaXR in Spatial.io and travels across the Metaverse with sessions in VRchat, Remio, Engage, Horizon, Raum, STYLY, MS Mesh and maybe a couple more.

IMMERSIVE X is a unique three-day digital event about the Metaverse that takes place entirely in Virtual Reality and can be accessed with a VR headset.

The fourth edition of IMMERSIVE X will focus on the social, cultural, and economic implications of spatial computing. Together, we'll explore the possibilities that emerge when we come together in three-dimensional digital environments through new immersive technologies.

I’m speaking at Immersive X 2024. My session "Cybersalon’s CyberiaXR Café: A Cultural Icon Recreated in the Metaverse," is part of the Culture track and is scheduled for November 26th, 5:00 pm CET / 10:00 am CST.

Step into CyberiaXR, a digital recreation of the iconic 1994 39 Whitfield Street, London Cyberia internet café, and explore how this cultural institution has been reimagined in the metaverse.

The session is 45 minutes, with 30 minutes dedicated to content and 15 minutes reserved for Q&A. After the CyberiaXR session, feel free to use the space to connect with fellow attendees and attend ImmersiveXR programmed activities.

Thank you to Mark Ashmore for asking about my Fringe experience and of course ultimately it’s impact.

I am all packed and awaiting the collection of the hire equipment acquired to make Non Player Character possible. This journey began in January.

As a first time Fringe company there is a lot to process. Once the figures are in and the tech is returned my Fringe will be complete. My framework is always, Plan, Prepare, Produce/Deliver, Reflect and Report! As an off site venue for technical necessity for a show demanding reliable internet there are lessons in compromise, lessons on “how fringe can a show to Fringe be?” And lessons in resilience. Certainly a unique experience and metrics for success beside narrative of unfortunate circumstances have made this an experience I shall not forget in a very long time. Bucket List moment. Career defining. Excited to site back and reflect to write the story for the future of the show and collaboration.

Homeward bound.

Hello, Are you taking a show to the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe?

This is an invitation shoutout for artists to come play and a cross promotion opportunity for this years Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Whether you have a show, a solo gig, or 'jobbing' at this years EdFringe in some capacity. Would you be interested in playing Non Player Character?

My EdFringe collaborator, NPC's creator and performer Brendan Bradley is looking for 4 people each night to join him to play his VR video game musical, Non Player Character.

One of my tasks as producer is to spread the word far and wide to gather groups of 4 to join him on stage. The show is 9pm at Yotel from Aug 2 - 25th. We are an associated ZooVenues listing. 1hr show followed by a cast Q&A each night. All live streamed.

Please PM me if you have questions or would like the link to the expression of interest form. All participants are asked to complete the form to help Brendan get in touch and understand your show and cast dynamic if you are wanting to play.

We do welcome non fringe artist groups so let's have that conversation and discuss the participant group ticket and opportunities. We also have a Festival Pass to watch all the shows online. The participant tickets are not being promoted to the general public. Let me know in the comments here if you'd be interested in a Come Play group ticket. It includes a digital ticket pass code so your friends and colleagues not at Fringe can watch you play NPC.
