‘Velvet Windows (Tremé Trippin')’ is a burlesque blues, a b***y bar-room brawler and yet another drunken fable written by E D Brayshaw and yours truly.

This version features Danny Flam’s New York Brass, Mike Ross on Guitars, Stevie Watts on keys, Kareña K on backing vocals with Tommy Rhodes on bass and Max Saidi on Drums

'Men Without Shadows' is an instrumental and is the third track to be released from the forthcoming 'Letters from the Blue Moon Motel' album by Wily Bo Walker & E D Brayshaw

Penned and played by Ed it also features a glorious backing vocal by C. C. White (Joe Cocker). There will be a Dolby Atmos mix of this track in the future (it sounds stunning in surround!)

Danny Flam’s ‘New York Brass’ swings it’s way throughout with the wonderful, driving baritone sax of Ron Bertolet (Bobby Caldwell etc)

‘Garden of Love (If I Just Could Turn Back Time)’

I was introduced to this song by my good friend, Danny Flam, who has played on and produced tracks for the song's writer, Kathy Ingraham

Kathy's words resonated with me and I laid down this track in my studio in a series of one-takes so what you hear is my interpretation as fresh as my ears initially heard this song. I just followed the muse and the track evolved itself. But I also heard something else so I called up a friend, the world renowned pedal steel player BJ Cole (Elton John, Scott Walker etc), and he has added his beautiful playing to the song

The song was written by good friend, Stone McEwan, and I am joined by Danny Flam (who won a Grammy for his work with Kanye West), Mark Ambrosino (drummer with Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young) and other amazing US musician friends.

I've been in audio production all of my adult life, from all formats of tape through early digital (Audiomedia II and the first revisions of Protools) on to the latest revisions of DAWs in what has always been Mono/Stereo Recording

With Dolby Atmos / Spatial Audio becoming a viable new format for music this old dog is learning a new trick

First track is for The Rattlin Bone Theatre Show and I must say it is great to be able to work in such an immersive format - it really suits what I am aiming to do with the 'show'

Single will be released next month hopefully - more to follow ofc!

‘Swamp (feat Kareña K)’ taken from the forthcoming soundtrack to The Rattlin Bone Theatre Show.

Kareña and I used to play this track ‘live’ when we went out as the duo ‘The Blue Valentines’ and it always got people clapping and stomping along. Taking it in to the studio we added didgeridoos and a host of exotic percussion as well as Kareña’s signature banks of backing vocals…

‘Love Will Find a Way’ has proven a very popular track over the years, not only from its own sales and streams but also for its inclusion in US TV shows. Taken from the 6 track mini album ‘A Long Way from Heaven’ which Kareña K and I released, we recorded this track totally acapella in that it only features our voices & handclaps (and whistling) with no other instrumentation

Written with more than a passing nod to Louis Armstrong’s ‘Wonderful World’ but with some pe**te psychedelia thrown in for fun…
