Overdrones is a professional aerial drone (UAV) photography and video production service, with full insurance, qualified pilots to BNUC-S standard, and is permitted for aerial work by the Civil Aviation Authority. Technical survey or creative, we are fully experienced and use only professional equipment with a minimum of two-crew for safety and the best results. Our specialisms include heritage, a
rchaeology, photogrammetry, and working in challenging environments. Operating with both multi-rotor and fixed-wing drones we are able to provide both high resolution low-altitude coverage, as well as larger area coverage of sites. This includes: Ultra High Definition (UHD-4K) creative video or high resolution photography. Using photogrammetry we are able to construct tangible 3D representations of landscapes or structures. The nature of these rapidly developing sets of technologies is such that we constantly are evolving our capabilities. We currently operate multi-rotor hexacopters (6-rotor) for safety and power, with high resolution SLR-class camera systems integrated into a 3-axis gyro-stabilized gimbal system for fantastic stability, This makes shooting either silky-smooth 4K video or superb high resolution photography possible for creative or technical survey projects. In addition, our experience and planning procedures enable us to safely operate in challenging environments such as highly regulated aviation airspace, sensitive heritage sites, urban or city environments, and can cope with variable weather conditions. Rather than relying on 3rd-party or Cloud storage and processing, we are proud of our commitment to ensuring client’s data integrity and privacy by investment of in-house back-end data storage and processing solutions. By building long-term relationships with clients, such as Cadw (Welsh Government's historic environment service), Historic Royal Palaces, the Church of England, and many leading Architect and Surveying practices, we have quickly established ourselves in the fast growing area of aerial drone work.
