The best ideas rarely come from the boardroom...during our last marketing foundation course, we talked about how creativity is unique for everyone.

Nic won’t mind me sharing that she often finds inspiration in the shower. As for me, I’m a big advocate for getting out for a long walk in the fresh air to clear my mind. I’m incredibly lucky to have the Yorkshire Dales as my backyard and spend many hours exploring with my sidekick, Ted.

Apparently, there's a method to my madness...walking creates a rhythmic pattern through the alternating movements of your arms and legs, known as bilateral stimulation. This process can help your brain process and integrate information in a unique and powerful way. Ted, however, comes along for the sniffs.

Don't underestimate the enduring power of TV as a media platform. Often considered old-fashioned, but we beg to differ. As the nod to the old saying, "You can take the girl out of TV, but you can't take TV out of the girl…"

We usually shy away from self-promotion, but we thought you might like to know a bit about us. Nicole and I (Stacey!) learnt our craft in the dynamic TV industry, holding senior management positions at Sky, ITV, Discovery Networks, and Disney before hopping over the fence into the agency world. We know a thing or two about ratings and impacts. Nic's specialist subject on Mastermind? Probably ITV station price!

As always, it was humbling to meet with the volunteers for our local Samaritans branch and hear of the pressures upon them during the current challenges.

Today is day and earlier this week, volunteers for our local Samaritans branch visited our Catterick Garrison office to receive a donation from Hunton and Garget Solicitors.

Lisa Potts, Managing Partner, explained why the charity was at the top of her list, “We are always looking for opportunities to support the local community and as we know the challenges of the last few years have sadly had a huge impact on the mental health of so many. Samaritans are a lifeline for those in need and we wanted to offer a little support during these difficult times."
