Why is video and still photography now so crucial to the marketing mix?

At Adams Group, we are noticing how much busier we have become recently with delivering compelling videos and still photography for clients. This trend has been increasing steadily over the last couple of years as client marketing teams are realising how valuable video and photography content is becoming - not just for websites but also for social media channels too.

A few years ago, there was a trend where agency clients used stock photography images purchased from the various image banks. At the moment, we are noticing that clients are far more interested in capturing their own images that relate directly to their products or services.

YouTuber Auto Alex is to challenge Drive Tribe’s Richard Hammond to a drag race in a Jaguar XJR.

Alex’s Jaguar XJR saloon has been converted to manual and given a limited-slip differential amongst other upgrades, to make the hefty leather-clad retro maroon saloon as quick as possible on the quarter mile.

Hoping to beat presenter Richard Hammond in his XJR, Alex commissioned Jaguar specialist Tom Lenthall to undertake all the work.

Tom is neighbour to Nicholson McLaren Engines, and they offered the use of thier state-of-the-art Hub Dyno to do a before and after run to see how much the car had improved in power and torque.

What a wonderful day we had on Saturday at Brands Hatch!

Adams Group hired suite C16 from Autoquip which is situated perfectly above the start/finish line. Our clients were treated to an action-packed day of racing at the final round of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship and amazing food from Brands Hatch hospitality.

Thanks also to Team HARD for making our client’s day so special. They treated us to a behind the scenes tour of how a successful BTCC team actually works on race day and we even managed to visit Bobby Thompson in the pit lane, who then went on to win his Jack Sears Championship on the Sunday.

It was a win-win for all!

It’s been a little while since I have visited the Goodwood Revival. I was lucky enough to race in the 50th Anniversary E-Type race back in 2011 and it has always had a special place in my heart.
