An experienced and creative lighting TV / Corporate camera operator. Although I’m based in Hull in East Yorkshire, I offer location filming services across the North/Midlands and whole UK. With 20 years of broadcast TV experience, I’ve worked on a wide variety of network and regional programmes including lifestyle, observational, light-entertainment, current affairs, news and sport for all of the
main broadcasters and numerous leading independent production companies. I specialise in location filming and I’m equally happy to work as a single-man lighting camera operator or with a sound recordist. I’m accustomed to working to tight deadlines, often in difficult situations whilst maintaining a creative, sensitive and professional approach. I am equipped with a Panasonic AJ-HPX3000 full 1080x1920 HD camera, Canon HJ22 lens as well as extensive lighting and sound kits, Wally Dolly, Go Pro, Chroma Key and various backdrops. I am also able to work as a Shoot / Edit camera operator performing simple edits and uploading rushes / packages to clients on location using a 17 inch Apple Mac laptop with Final cut Pro 7. Being an approved supplier to the BBC, ITV and Sky Sports, I am fully insured and have completed relevant health and safety courses. I am able to crew multi camera shoots with experienced camera operators, sound recordists, vision mixers and journalists / producers through my network of industry contacts. I have also recently acquired the DJI Inspire 1 Pro drone and X5 camera which i can now offer as a service to accompany my filming or as a stand alone service. Having obtained a CAA license (PFCO) and specialist insurance, I am now able to offer aerial drone photography and filming services using a DJI Inspire 1 Pro drone with full HD / 4K X5 camera.
