Photographer for the day… 📸 Staying teachable as a business owner is vital for continued success and growth. I love to learn new things, it excites me and gives me a huge sense of achievement. I’m constantly learning. Each and every client of mine is different. In order to work with them and be able to do the best job I possibly can for them, I educate myself, learn their industry, understand what they do, how and why. Remaining teachable helps you stay current with industry trends and changing consumer preferences, enabling you to adapt your business strategies effectively. Today’s @hellocontentqueens challenge was to choose a word beginning with the first letter of your name. Something that is relevant to you. It’s a fun challenge and does exactly what it’s set out to do… create content for your social media. My letter was obviously T for Tracy. I could choose many words relevant to me and my business, but this one is a huge part of my job as a business owner. WHY DO I OWN MY OWN CREATIVE BUSINESS? … well, that’s an easy one! Pictures speak a thousand words, therefore this post really doesn’t need any words. But… of course I’m going to tell you a little more. I started up my own business because of my children. I’m very lucky and grateful every day to be a mum to 3 wonderful mini-me’s, but I’ve also been their father figure too. Raising my children on my own meant that I really had to plough full steam ahead with my small business so that I could create the life I so wanted for my little family. It’s not easy starting your own business, it’s a lot of blood, sweat and tears, but so worth the hard work that you put in. Throw lockdown and homeschooling into the picture, you can probably imagine 🤓. They are my WHY. But why a business doing social media management and design? Because I’m great at it, and I love it. I’ve always been very creative, loved to draw, loved to write… so why would I not put my love for that into something that can help others and give me my very own business to be proud of. I love being my own boss, I love being able to be there to support my children and attend their events and achievements, and I love helping other people and their businesses. I also love working remotely! Well goodbye June! Wow, you were soooo busy, but my favourite month yet!!
