I love WOMAD festival.. it's a true favourite of mine. The music from all over the world, the discovery of new bands and sounds, the chance to get involved in the music, yoga and all manner of excellent things..

This year WOMAD takes on an extra level of fabulous for me as I'm part of the Presenter line up for Radio WOMAD, so I'll be able to dive deep into everything that's going on.. I'll be interviewing, recording and chatting to performers and broadcasting live.

Hurrah! Now I have the small matter of a tent and train combo to conquer!!

Explainer videos don’t have to be made to a formula.. many are though..

It’s always a delight to work with Cognitive as they have such a fresh approach- putting the need to reach the audience first, with creativity and style.

Describing your voice? I reckon this is a peculiarity of life as a Voiceover Artist! Who else has to regularly tell people what they sound like or some up their vocal vibe in a few pithy phrases on a day to day basis?!! It's very tricky to do yourself, so seeking the opinion of agents, clients and coaches is very helpful. After-all once you know and understand your sound, you can work out the direction of your VO career. Most voiceovers require a subtle blend of herbs and spices.. Here's an example - conversational. applying across ages groups, inspiring, proud, trusted, motivating, compelling, knowledgable, intelligent, on brand. It's a pro VO skill.. A.I? Hold my beer. What unique blend is your sonic brand?

How's the week starting for you? It's all going VERY well here. I can also do voiceovers really nicely and effectively - in a way that lots of people really appreciate.. making their lives easier with top quality and fast turnaround. Hard to believe from this, but there you go

Are you a little bit too piratey sometimes?! Funny how your accent can sneak out isn't it.. also not funny, quite irritating.
