From Mark Ross Can you post this on your page on behalf of Dave Johnson The reality of living with SSEN’s400KV line upgrade programs in the Fyvie area of rural Aberdeenshire. This has been ongoing since last August, so nearly a year of relentless noise whenever there is any dampness, moisture or rain ( Which is let’s face it normal Scottish weather). The clip was taken around 2000 last night. Not only do you hear the noise outside the house, but at nights our family can hear it even when all windows and doors are closed. Dave wants to raise awareness prior to the upcoming public meeting on the 22nd of July. Unfortunately SSEN are ignoring David’s emails and calls on the issue and others should be made aware prior to them installing the lines in proximity to their homes. I am sure you will agree, horrendous for anyone having that installed near their homes!

hi could you please post anonymously. i thought the gates at the primary school was designed for drivers to stop abusing the car park, how come the gates are shut and there are still people deciding to ignore them and drive over the pavement in. Shocking!

It appears the repair done to the burst bank behind Ferguson Hall has washed away, so expect floods in the Den again 😢 Weve just had this in from Steve. About 11am this morning, guessing it’s worse now.

Sent in.. Hi, I live on the Balmellie Street, and I have some unwanted guest almost every Saturday night. Young idiots thinks it's fun to knocks the windows in the middle of the night. I installed two cameras into my window. Unfortunately the one closer gives not the best quality, the other one gives better pictures of them 2 girls, and two boys this time. I'm not really good in video cutting, editing, so I can only provide the short footages. Can I ask you to share their pics with the community, and ask the community to give instructions for these young idiots about correct behaving? I think I can't make the perfectly diplomatic but powerful text for this post.

Hello! Just found this wee kitten in the glenesk wood area, he's in a rough way so I'll give him a good clean up, sort out his conjunctivitis, worm and deflea etc. Clearly very hungry as he's gone through a packet of kitten food and half a bottle of kitten milk. Very friendly though so we were wondering if he'd been a pet and just got lost. If anyone recognises him please let us know. If not he's got a home with us

From Tiggy Poppy Miller Hi can you pop up a post please Went down the den today after school today and kids needed the toilet so headed over to the loos to use them and this is what we're faced with for the 3rd time this week. Absolutely shocking to see this. I called and reported it. Toilets were attended to straight away and cleaned but had to be locked so they couldn't be used. The minority ruining it for the majority AGAIN. IF these toilets are aloud to remain open from now on, I'd suggest taking a pack of tissues with you when using the den toilets and some sanitiser for your hands ( word on the vine is that all materials will be removed for use) I do believe the academy had the same issue in one of their toilet blocks yesterday too. So just a heads up if ypur heading out for a walk so ypur not caught short. Video attached below

Sent and reported to the police. The level of antisocial behaviour seems to be increasing, the play park at the den the other week, now this. This is NOT acceptable. Sent in group of kids all dressed in black, north face / Nike logos smashing windows at the old care home - using glass bottles, bricks & a long pole. Police have been informed. Were there earlier and came back.
