truly made us proud in Paris .. an incredible achievement! Only beaten by China in the final medal table. A marker of just how far we’ve come globally in the realm of Paralympic sport.. perhaps a lasting legacy of London 2012? And of course the also deserve a great deal of credit. WELL DONE GUYS .. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!

In our summer edition (also available to view online) as well as in a recent story in the news / reviews pages of our website (see link in bio) we featured four new timepieces for 2024 including this exquisite model from - one of two new Laureato models, continuing its legacy from 1975. Featuring a 42mm Pink Gold case, these timepieces highlight contrasting shapes and finishes. The dials, available in Sage Green and Ultramarine Blue, change shades from different angles. Entirely designed, produced, assembled, and adjusted by Girard-Perregaux, the watches boast meticulous craftsmanship. The see-through case-back reveals a gold oscillating weight with Côtes de Genève decoration. Priced around £44,100.

This is the 3rd anniversary of this special feature in the magazine - and tomorrow we’ll also be doing some throwbacks to the previous years and some of the other names of inspirational, entrepreneurial women that we have previously featured.

As part of the “3 homes for sale that are touched by eminence” article in our spring edition (click link in bio) We look at Great Tangley Manor near Wonersh, Surrey. It is reputedly the UK’s oldest continually inhabited house with foundations dating from 1016. It is Grade I listed and is a historically significant property with links to multiple British monarchs. King George V and Queen Mary signed the window of the dining room with a diamond ring, while the signature of King George VI can also be seen on the dressing room windows of the master suite. Once owned by Wickham Flower, a founder member of the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings and part of the Arts and Crafts Movement. He commissioned Philip Webb, the famous architect, to design various extensions, with furnishings by his good friend, William Morris.
This family home less than for miles from Guildford has approximately 11,255 sq ft of accommodation and glorious gardens of approximately 10 acres. It includes a 40-ft indoor swimming pool, a tennis court as is being marketed through and for £6,750,000.
