This website was founded in 2016 by two millennials looking for ways to escape the treadmill of life and be financially free. After working for nearly four years in a top-tier investment bank we’re doing alright – a string of promotions, work trips and plenty of perks but there is still something missing. A lot of our generation’s struggles come from simply not having enough cash. Society tells us
to:
- Study at a good college so that you get a good job
- Find a stable job so that you pay off your student loan
- Pay off your loan and start saving for a deposit on a house
- Save enough to get on the property ladder to pay a mortgage for the rest of your working career
- Ramp up credit card debt on the side so that you still have a social life
The list is endless and needs to stop! Three things:
1. We’re actively following proven methods to escape the rat race – think low-cost index funds and long-term dividend investing. However, traditional methods are typically very slow and require a lot of upfront capital. Is this really the best way?
2. We also want to try out fresh financial freedom strategies for the 21st century – think alternative finance like cryptocurrencies and CFD trading.
